Ao'nung's face went red— from anger or embarrassment, or both. "Shut the fuck up."
"I think you'll do anything to avoid having an actual honest conversation." Neteyam's voice was cold now, all the hurt crystallizing into something sharp. "Including picking a fight. Including pretending I'm just some drunk mistake you can forget about."
"I said shut UP—"

Therefore, he doesn't think he's crazy to assume it's gonna be a total disaster when Fushiguro is put on the volleyball team, and also forced to be Yuuji's new tutor. Something else entirely different happens instead.

Summary
Fushiguro Megumi is a poacher; a lethally trained hunter working to capture the last dregs of humanity to feed his vampiric clients and keep his sister safe. Megumi assumes that he will be hunting down his own kind for the end of his days until coven leader, Mahito, makes him an offer he can't refuse:
A man named Itadori Yuuji has fled the chains of the coven to try and disappear into the wilds of Japan, stealing an important vampiric relic in his escape. Megumi must find Itadori and return him to the coven alive, using whatever means necessary to gain his trust. Should Megumi fulfill their contract, he and his sister will receive full immunity from vampire-kind as they walk away from their dealings. One final contract.

“Maybe he’s got you whipped,” another chimed. They erupted in laughter again.
Hikaru kicked the ball hard. Too hard. It smacked into the fence with a metallic clang that made a few heads jerk up.
“Knock that shit off,” Hikaru barked, shoving past a teammate. “I said he ain’t gay. Don’t fucking talk about him like that.”
One wrong reaction shatters everything between them, leaving Hikaru wrestling with a fear he can’t name and Yoshiki trying to pretend he doesn't exist. What follows is a slow, aching unravel: avoidance, regret, the steady realization that losing Yoshiki hurts more than anything Hikaru was trying to protect himself from.
A short, four-chapter "what if" story about bad timing, teenage feelings, and the clumsy way boys learn what it means to be truly honest with each other and themselves.

Summary
At first, Megumi considered shooting both of the strangers and getting it over with. They attacked them, so why would they deserve any mercy from him? But as he mulled it over, the thought of Yuji and his brother not killing him when they had the chance ate away at his consciousness. Megumi couldn't decide whether to trust the weeping guy's sobs.
Having put his finger on the gun's lever, he thought back on what Gojo said. Did he have the guts to pull the trigger, not just hold it there? Maybe he didn't, and was too much of a coward. All it took was a little pressure to find out.
Yuji cried out, barely comprehensible through his cracked lips. “Don't kill my brother, please.”
