    Summary

The war between the Atlanteans and Olympians has been brutal. As the Olympians strive to bring all nations under their heel.

Perseus has always prided himself a great warrior. But one mishap on the battlefield against the Olympian prince has left him bound and enslaved.

Now he finds himself a slave to the Olympian prince, a shrewd man who shares little with his tyrant father. With no hope of escape, Perseus must use his wits to find his way back home. Or better yet, find a way to destroy the Olympian empire from the inside. Will he ever get to see the sea again or will he die trying?

    Summary

Percy Jackson wakes on the shores of the Trojan War and is promptly captured.

The Greeks think he’s a prize. The sea thinks otherwise.

When storms answer his temper and thunder refuses to challenge him, the camp reaches a dangerous conclusion: he stands above Olympus. Percy lets them believe it. A god is harder to command than a boy.

But even gods are drawn into war — and into the orbit of two warriors who kneel in fear long before they ever dare to look at him as anything else.

“There is a con in our midst!” Octavian shouted, shaking a disemboweled teddy bear in Percy’s face. “Jackson is a liar, and a scam! He is not to be trusted!”

Though Percy and Praetor Reyna got in constant fights, this was one area where she would stand up for him. “Octavian, give him a break. He’s just a kid, he’s never done anything to you.”

“He’s never done anything to me?” Octavian questioned. “Or he's never done anything for me? I have sacrificed many bears over my altar, and all of them say the same thing. They speak of horror, danger; they speak of an unfulfilled prophecy. Tell me, Perseus—if that even is your real name—what quest did you go on and never leave, what duty have you failed?”

    Summary

And the sun going down your eyes
makes me think of ancient times,
of nectar spilled on your lips,
of pearls buried in your hair,
by a sea of golden laurels.

Thinking of your love is to return to the past,
immersing myself in your warm embrace
    tempts me to freeze time,
love your body as no one has loved it.

The sea contained in your gaze,
is a raging and calm sea,
that cries out for blood and war,
for years of peace and loyalty.
