The room is too bright.
It’s quaint, in a nauseating sort of way. Polished floors glint from the gleaming honeycomb chandeliers overhead, make him squint. A few vases sprinkled here and there, filling the room with a sickeningly sweet scent – even a waffle-cone headrest framing the silken sheets of a neatly-tucked bed. Outside, the golden sun gleams, the gentle rays of light spilling past curtains that waver in the afternoon breeze.
It's meant to be beautiful. Luxurious. Welcoming.
With one sweep of his cane, Shadow Milk tears it apart.

Summary
At first glance, the pointed ears make him look like an ordinary elf. His hair is white, curled, and seems to glitter in the moonlight. His skin is pale but the armor he wears is black and gold, like some sort of Paladin or fairytale knight.
Wyll blinks up at him to make sure he’s really seeing him right. The stranger has a near unreadable expression on his face at first but then he smiles, strained, and Wyll sees it.
Fangs.
“Oh.” Wyll mumbles, realization setting in. “You’ve come to kill me.”
The stranger seems visibly surprised by his answer. “Darling,” he says, and there’s something strangely genuine about the way he calls him that, “Whatever gave you that idea?”
(Or Present Day Astarion ends up in a temporal mishap that has him meeting Twenty Year Old Past Wyll while he’s on death’s door. He steps in to do something about it.)

Summary
He never quite stopped sleeping with a weapon however, nor with his hand far from it. So when he feels the slightest touch in the night, Wyll doesn’t think. There is no time for thinking in a matter of life or death.
He reacts.
Wyll immediately curls his hand around his blade and throws his body against his mystery opponent. There’s a cry of surprise and Wyll takes advantage of that surprise, immediately pinning them under him with his body weight and pointing his blade inches from their neck.
It’s only then, with his opponent deathly still from under him, does Wyll’s mind catch up to him. He’s straddled a humanoid figure, one that trembles under him with their hands up in surrender. And with his Devil’s Sight— a regrettably useful gift from Mizora— Wyll realizes that he recognizes this figure.
(Or Wyll has been ambushed in his sleep before. When Astarion attempts to get a quick bite in, he is met with the instincts of a monster hunter.)

“Loki,” Mobius mumbles. He can feel his heartbeat slowing, his pulse growing sluggish. His body just feels frozen solid, now, like he’s surpassed cold and descended into a total lack of feeling.
“No, Mobius— Mobius,” Loki says sharply. “Look at me, look at me! Talk to me, stay awake— Mobius. Mobius!”
Loki sounds panicked, frantic, and Mobius wants to help, but he can’t get his head to lift or his eyes to open. He lets them stay shut; it feels like he’s floating in the frozen darkness. It’s nearly peaceful. He can’t even feel the ground beneath him anymore.
“Mobius,” Loki says again. “I’m right here, I won’t leave you. I won’t go anywhere, I’m here.” His cold lips push to Mobius’ cheek, the corner of his mouth.

The entity who calls himself Benrey has made himself a threat to the beings of Xen by aiding the human known as Gordon Freeman in killing many of their kind. So, the beings of Xen must do what they do best and find a way to kill him as well.
(Or in other words, Benrey takes a hit and can’t get back up from it. At least, not on his own)

So sometimes you sit down with your pals and think "Hey, what would it even LOOK like if Gordon was the boss at the end of Half Life VR But the AI is Self Aware, by Wayneradiotv and Pals?" and then you kick it around into a really cool design and then Whoops A Whole AU because.Hey. Wouldn't it be kind of fucked up if Gordon was the final boss? And it's really glitchy, because he's not supposed to be the boss? But man. What if that happened because him and Benry and Tommy were *already friends*?
...And then it kind of becomes a set of drawings my pal in crime facefullabugs and then a whole damn lil comic that I wrote and they drew because we really like hurt comfort, and then I decided to write some short fics that go with/fill in the comic bits, and then hey I should prob. Put them. Somewhere people can find, huh.
So that's here.
