Summary
Michel Robinavitch has evaded professional psychiatric help for far too long; so when Jack Abbot becomes fed up with finding him on the roof after every shift, he is confronted with the terrifying reality that is an inpatient psychiatric stay.
Dennis Whitaker is a young Psychiatrist working in an inpatient unit in rural Pennsylvania. His most recent intake leaves him feeling puzzled, intrigued, and determined to find out more about the despondent man who has given up on himself.
Will their short time together make a difference in Robby’s outlook on his life? Will Dennis feel satisfied by the work he is able to do with him? Will it leave them both mourning what could be possible had they met outside of the confines of the doctor-patient relationship?

Summary
Shane was twelve when hockey scouts started showing up to his games. He was barely fifteen when a check went horribly wrong, fucked his knee to hell and gave him a grade III concussion. During rehab he found swimming, and he was seventeen when he went to the Olympics as a relay-only swimmer who only swam the prelims.
He’s 24 and working for his mom’s sports PR company when he meets Ilya Fucking Rozanov.
May contain: Shane Hollander navigating what it means to be mostly normal when your whole childhood was about preparing you for greatness. Shane Hollander attempting to flirt. Possibly less than 100% accurate descriptions of what a sports PR agent does.

Summary
It's supposedly perfect. She gets the Jack Abbot without the trauma and PTSD and grief. She gets the version of him that's soft and hot and doesn't expect her to placate him. They're just friends with benefits, and that very thought makes Samira want to throw up.
Because once again, Samira wants. She wants and wants and wants until the only thing left in her soul is the bitter taste of sorrow about what could have been, what should have been.
She feels bad for the stuffed animals she finds at the thrift store— how did she expect to not feel bad about Jack?

She can’t have a baby; she absolutely can not. She’s alone in Pittsburgh, with the closest thing to family: her older neighbour. She's just applied for residency, wants to match in Emergency Medicine, and how is she meant to do that with a baby? A baby that the father doesn't even want to acknowledge, doesn't even believe is real.

“Where does it hurt?”
“What?”
“The pain. I’m not playing this fucking game with you anymore. Where is the pain?” He waited, stared, until finally Dennis’s eyes came up from the floor and locked in on his own. “You’re one of the most driven people I’ve had the pleasure of working with in a long time, Whitaker, and you are off your game in a big way. I’ve seen you sit down more times in the past eight hours than I’ve seen you sit ever. You’re barely eating, you’re dragging ass, and -please excuse how direct I’m being when I say this- you’ve been downright bitchy the past three days.” Dennis’s face fell, and he tilted his head back down, eyes locking in and beginning to count the speckles in the tile floor, until long, deft fingers met his chin and tilted his face back upward, forcing him back into the eye contact that would be his undoing. “Tell me where it hurts.”

Summary
His palms began to sweat as he shoved his phone back in his pocket. There was no way Robby wasn’t flagging. Why the fuck would he flag at work? Dennis felt the pit in his stomach grow as he stood and made his way to North 5, running through the worst case scenarios in his head. Did Robby know about his crush? Was he teasing Dennis? It didn't seem like him, but then again, what did Dennis know about Robby?
Well, he knew three things now. Robby liked men, and he flagged mustard yellow and hunter green on the left.

Summary
The next morning, Jack wakes to an empty bed, which isn’t surprising. The only thing he is surprised by is the little pang in his chest once he realises Robby has left. It’s not that he had any illusions about what last night was.
It’s just. It might have been nice to have breakfast together, or something.
Or: The night before Jack starts his new job as a senior attending, he hooks up with the hottest guy he's ever seen.

Baran Al-Hashimi is a single mom, about to turn forty. She owns an art gallery and does yoga in the mornings and lives a normal life, and very much wants to keep it that way.
Trinity Santos is one of the most popular indie-folk singers of the last decade, in the middle of touring her latest album. She’s a bit of a mess, and too busy having a good time to be looking for love, but it wouldn’t be the first time things don’t go the way she planned.
