Summary
Charlie Spring wanted to believe that he would find love. He really, really did. Seeing the couples all around him made him yearn to find a boy who could break down the walls he'd built around his heart; Charlie had so much love to give, but that had only ever been taken advantage of in the past.
When a new barista begins working at the coffee shop that Charlie visits every weekend, sparks begin to fly over lavender lattes, imperfect pastries, and shared secrets.
As the two boys begin to grow closer, Charlie's feelings only intensify. Touches seem to linger, words become bolder, and he begins to read perhaps a bit too far into some of the barista's behaviors. But he has an inclination that Nick feels the same way. Maybe. Hopefully.
Charlie never expected to meet his soulmate in a coffee shop on a random Saturday in the summer. Then again, love did work in mysterious ways.

I know logically that there is no good reason to cheat on your husband, no matter how insufferable he is or how much you despise each other. Summary
University hasn’t been ideal, in Charlie’s eyes. He has friends, he likes his major well enough, but too often do the rugby lads slam his shoulder a little too hard and too often does he feel the ache of distance from home. Fortunately, the best thing walks into his life- his new roommate, Nicholas “Nick” Nelson.
What started as a quick friendship quickly develops into more, at least in Charlie’s eyes. Friends don’t normally know what it feels like to kiss your neck, to hear quiet whines and desperate grasps, lacking discarded clothing. But they’ve settled into this new arrangement, a friendship with an asterisk that doesn’t go beyond hookups and the feel of Nick’s lips on his- no strings attached. Too bad for Charlie that he wants every string attached.

His eyes flick over to Ben, just behind Imogen, and it's seeing him there, laughing, that steels him, because this is something he can give Charlie instead of just constantly taking, like Ben did. He likes Charlie. He loves liking Charlie. And it's that thought that allows him to say, damn the consequences: "I'm actually kinda seeing Charlie."
In the last moments of episode four, Nick makes a different decision, and he may even be ready for it.
