“I’m sorry,” he says, turning heel and resisting the urge to just book it right for the front door only because he’d rather not have to explain to Hayden why he returned from a hookup with Boston Lily in men’s clothes that he certainly didn’t leave in.
It’s not until he makes it halfway up the stairs to Rozanov’s bedroom that it occurs to him in a cold rush that it isn’t just anxiety that makes it this hard to breathe.

Ilya Rozanov owns a car wash named “Daddy’s Car Wash” near South Algonquin, Ontario. One morning, a car covered in bird shit pulls into the washing bay. Ilya would have never expected the driver to be the one and only Shane Hollander.

In June the Centaurs won the cup. Ilya hoisted it, did his lap and when he passed it to Shane he planted a huge kiss on his lips, the cup still overhead. Shane was sure it was one of the happiest nights of his life and sharing the experience with Ilya made it so much better than any of his other cup wins. While they partied with the cup, Shane had a perfect idea.
"Ilya, what if you use your cup day for the pride parade?" he slurred.
