Heโd spit out the bite immediately, but the taste of sand caught in the back of his throat, and it never really went away after that. Summary
Today I woke up thinking about "rebirth" rite of passages. Maybe initiation rites are rebirth rites in a way. I'm not sure where this came from. I woke up thinking about the topic of atonement and how it can be in vain.
This is a collection of my Death Note works which are set in an AU where L has been kidnapped by Light and Beyond, and is being or has been brainwashed and tortured by the two of them, as โrehabilitation for his sins.โ
They are all ongoing! There might be gaps between updates, but Iโll make sure to update in the summary if any of them ever go on hiatus, are abandoned, or are completed.

Lord Voldemort held up Potterโs marked arm for the rest to see as if they hadnโt already. โHarry Potter is now one of your own.โ
Harry Potter turned and with a large grin waved at Severus. Then twisting back towards their lord he asked over his shoulder, โAm I supposed to hug you now or kiss your feet or something?โ
Their lord sighed. โNo, Harry.โ
โAre you sure? This feels like a hugging moment.โ
Severus peeled himself away from the rest and swooped the boy away before he could embarrass himself farther. Under his breath he muttered, โYou can hug Sirius when you get home. We do not hug our lord.โ
โSirius gives the best hugs, of course, you already know that.โ
Bellatrix would be thrilled at seeing Severus Snape humiliated so, under his large hood, she was sure his face was flushed with it, but her mind was still twisted with unease. She doubted she was alone.
Harry Potter had just marked himself with a large target and he would never be one of their own.
