“Yes,” Ilya interrupted. He didn’t want to know how long Hollander’s list was. “I know.”
Hollander took a deep breath. “Okay, listen,” he said. “Just so we’re clear - we don’t know each other outside of playing against each other, right?”
“Right.”
“And we can’t- can’t hook up anymore.”

Jungkook sighed and leaned fully against the counter, “Me too.”

Shane’s thumb flicks through the MLH Snark subreddit like he always does after a rough game, looking for anything about him or his teammates. Anything about a bad turnover, a missed shot — he can handle the jokes. He can handle the gifs. He can handle the memes.
But he always had this deep concern that after a bad game, when all eyes were on him, and people were just searching for anything they could to turn people against him, he would find something about him and Ilya—he even had nightmares about it.
