"What have you done?" Hildy was baffled.
Meryl sat on her couch, feigning innocence with a small shrug. "I was just… browsing."
"You messed up a perfectly good timeline is what you did. Look at the poor lad." Hildy pointed at the younger Meryl sitting next to him. "He's crying."

Ogata wondered if Tsurumi-san made bento for Manager Wada, too. Probably. They never had lunch together, so he wouldn't know. As he chewed a piece of fried chicken, he imagined slipping rat poison into Wada's bento, and smiled.
Money. That's what he needed. Tsurumi-san didn't even like Wada, he only stayed with him for the money. Even then, it wasn't as if the manager position made a ton of money. It wouldn't be hard to make more money than him in a year. Ogata was younger, and Wada had hemorrhoids. It wasn't even a competition.
