Summary
Eli is a young adult vampire who is unintentionally abandoned by his guardian. He survives on his own, but his inexperience leads him to be captured by a vigilante group of hunters who want to pry information out of an easy target.
However, the hunters' operation is compromised during their interrogation of him. They evacuate, and leave Eli there to rot.
He is found, by some miracle, weeks later on the brink of starvation, by a powerful and respected vampire - will they help? Or simply leave him like everyone else had?

Across the deep blue there's rumors of a rare plant that can cure any illness. It's extremely difficult to obtain but, despite the ever-stacking odds, one of the ocean's smallest inhabitants has made it his mission to find it. He sneaks away from home in search of it for his sister, throwing his life on the line and meeting other dangers and friends along the way!
This story contains a multitude of fictional elements like mermaids, and speaking english underwater, and tetras not being an exclusively freshwater fish, and ocean moss, and im basically just making stuff up as i go but shhhhh let's just ignore all that :^)

Summary
A shameless g/t indulgence fic pretty much entirely inspired by Arrietty. Sfw interactions only (minus some angst maybe).
Everything takes place in modern day, but in a fictional reality where little beings (borrowers) live in the walls and take things that humans don't need. They're incredibly timid creatures, but excellent survivors and very agile. They'd look 100% human if not for their nose, ears, tails, and feet.
Carter is the youngest in a family of four, resilient with a daredevil spirit. After a tragic turn of events he's left to fend for his own, and manages alright, until the unimaginable happens.
But.. things may not be as bad as they seem.

It's Christmas Eve in the Harlin household, and their daughter has just brought something interesting inside that would change all of their lives forever.

This takes place in a fantasy AU where humans discovered faeries and instead of being like "woah cool! new friends!" They were like "oh hey look rare insects that make good ingredients in potions" so the fae tend to hide from them and live secluded as best as possible.----
When Finn's home burns down due to an unfortunate natural disaster, he set out on his own to help his colony locate a new spot.
However, things quickly go south as he finds himself trapped, and put on display in an Alchemist's shop.
Needless to say, his first encounter with humanity isn't going very well.
