(After too many loops, Takumi's cryptoglobin becomes unstable. The best method for treating it is a blood transfusion, and the best option for that, willing or no, is Eito. But sharing cryptoglobin so directly also shares memories, and sharing too much blurs the memories together. As far as Takumi and Eito are concerned, they've known each other since childhood. And the relationship they've suddenly always had isn't a healthy one.)

A cool breeze filters in through Takumi’s windows. He keeps waking up in the middle of the night because he’s not quite used to cracking a window open and feeling a breeze like this. The TRC doesn’t have any kind of weather, let alone wind. Just the same sunny, simulated skies. It feels uncanny as it passes through Takumi’s room and jostles his hair, tickles his skin. Not only that, there’s something sweet smelling carried by the wind too. Which is peculiar, what with the Wall of Flames and the ruins surrounding them. Wouldn’t it smell more like ash and burnt rubble? Not that it’s annoying, just… suspicious. Like everything at this school.
This is partly why Takumi can’t sleep. The other reason?
The insatiable, incessant heat between his thighs.

Eito meets his eyes with the most loving, apologetic gaze he can muster. “I was cooling you off,” he offers simply.
”Cooling me off?” Takumi repeats in shock, looking at Eito like he might find the answer to whatever the fuck that excuse was written somewhere in Eito’s eyes.

Eito watches Takumi’s face as he licks his lips again and sighs. He looks up, eyes wide and vulnerable.
“No,” he says, quickly. “No, I want… I…” He squeezes his eyes shut. “Is it so wrong to... I’m so sick of being here, I want to go back, but I don’t…” His eyelashes are still wet with tears. A few droplets stick to them as he blinks rapidly and rubs at his face. “…I want to forget about– about everything. About everything we lost when we came here, about— about—”
Takumi’s voice shatters. He takes a few moments to breathe, and Eito is forced to endure the sight of his chest rising and falling unevenly. “A… about Karua. J- Just for a bit! I don’t want to... I just want to forget everything, and… feel good for a little while.”
Takumi wants to forget. Not forever, just for a bit; and, well, Eito is the only person he can really go to with this. As much as he likes Nozomi, he'd just feel entirely disgusting (and besides, it wouldn't help at all, considering the… problem).
Eito has thoughts about this, but he's keeping them to himself.
