It definitely gets better, and is on the whole, sweet. Sub Charlie moment definitely gives it a lot of respect too, because they DO switch!!!!! Thank you !!!!!! Overall very fun, nice details, characterization & dynamic much better than I thought. -

Ohhh man. This is good. Definitely gets better as you read on, but just as much worth starting from the beginning when rereading. Veryyyy nice.
In my own brain + headcanons, I like this chapter 1 to be set before the “Charlie Dies” episode but prolly after “Enchanted Forest” one, letting the tension of the ending linger and they don’t truly address it again. (Painful slow burn my beloved ….) Inevitably, little stuff like this will happen over & over until they crack over & over again until eventually they realize how much closer they have become than ever before !! Yay!!!
