Summary
In this lifetime or the next, Nao and Reko’s paths always seem to collide.
You long for her to kiss you over coffee for no reason at all, ask her why she doesn’t buy it at the nearby café. It’s barely a block from your apartment, isn’t it? Never good as yours, she’ll say, sly and smiling. You’ll bury your face in your hands, embarrassed and exasperated yet utterly fond, so pleasantly pleased. She’ll tuck a stray strand behind your ear. Gently, softly. Then she’ll whisper against your lips, share a secret just for you. And another, and another—-
You close your eyes.
You aren’t afraid of ghosts anymore.

Summary
Sara looked out of the little window for a moment, as if the white light shining on the ocean waves could write out the question’s answer for her. Then she looked down at the two who had posed the unusual question. “Why do you ask?...”
Gin and Kanna stared up at her with equally wide, trusting eyes. “He doesn’t smell like a man,” Gin stated.
“Kanna thought she was a woman,” Kanna fretted, “but Mr. Policeman said she was a man."
“Why did you ask..." Sara stopped herself. "No, more importantly, what do you mean he doesn’t ‘smell like a man?’”
((A loving tribute to the scene in 'Your Time To Shine' in which Kanna goes to extreme lengths to determine Kai's gender. In this fic, Kanna and Gin team up to ask absolutely everyone what's up with that.))

Summary
Kel wants to kiss Sunny. Like, he REALLY wants to kiss him. But of course, he doesn't want to risk ruining their friendship, uncertain if his friend feels the same way. So when Aubrey and Basil tell him about an apparent loophole that would allow him to kiss Sunny while still preserving their friendship, Kel immediately latches onto it.
Sunny had been having a good day, all things considered. Kel suddenly running up to him with an eager glint in his eyes wasn't anything new to him, but everything that followed DEFINITELY was. And now Sunny is left reeling from the fallout, wondering if maybe his feelings aren't as unrequited as he had previously thought.
Meanwhile, the rest of the gang are watching this train-wreck play out like a Shakespearean comedy with buckets of popcorn.
(Or, Kel kisses Sunny on the lips after screaming "no homo" in his face, Sunny has several mental breakdowns, Aubrey is tired of her friends' shit, Hero is the lone voice of reason, and Basil really wants a peach tree.)
