As they move away from Hawkins and settle in Chicago, they finally find a community there, in at least one way they can be significantly safer while they heal from their significant trauma.
The series spans from living in Hawkins still as young adults to finding their new and independent queer life in Chicago in their 20s, and beyond. A queer focused study of intimacy, sexuality, kink, and other things.
