Summary
The music stopped the moment the black sludge crashed through the sky.
When a terrifying Abyssal dirge breaches the protective barrier of the Sekais, Akito Shinonome is violently pulled into the dark by the Abyss Princess to fuel a war he knows nothing about. Devastated and fading, the original Miku—the Prime Singer—uses the last of her power to launch a desperate rescue mission, sending four souls crashing into the world of Teyvat:
The Shield (Ichika), who must learn to protect her friends with more than just a guitar.
The Foundation (Haruka), who must find stability in a world ruled by chaotic gods.
The Star (Tsukasa), who refuses to let this unfamiliar script end in a tragedy.
The Void (Mafuyu), who finally finds a world where her emptiness becomes a weapon.With no knowledge of this new world, they must adapt to elemental powers, unravel the mysteries of the Archons, and face the horrors of the Abyss to bring their missing verse back home.

Summary
For eons, Asmoday—the Ruler of Space and Time—has watched the script of Teyvat play out. But after countless resets, she faces a terrifying truth: the Traveler alone is not enough. The Abyss inevitably swallows the Throne, and the story always ends in ruin.
Desperate to save her world, she breaks the one rule: she reaches across the Void for external help.

A deal is struck with the Administrator of the Sekais. Four souls are stolen from their reality to become the new variables Teyvat desperately needs to break the cycle:

Sora doesn't understand penguins, and he certainly doesn't understand Haruka Kiritani’s obsession with them. To him, a flightless bird is a biological error; to her, it’s a symbol of dignity and resilience. After confiscating her "chibi" sketch of the creature as "evidence of her delusion," Sora finds himself in the Grand Bazaar, where a Fontaine merchant is teaching a free course on the art of Amigurumi.
Under the guise of testing his accuracy and proving the instructor's incompetence, Sora puts his puppet-jointed fingers to work. Translating Haruka’s verbal descriptions and her "bean" drawing into a three-dimensional reality, he creates something he claims is a "waste of yarn"—but Haruka knows it’s something much more.

While window shopping with Rui and Nene, 2B visits a "Pear Store" to check out the latest AR headset. She is unimpressed, comparing the clunky consumer tech to her lost YoRHa visor, lamenting that operating with "raw optical input" feels like using a computer without a monitor.
After terrifying a sales clerk by asking if the device supports "Target Locking" and "Projectile Evasion," Rui has to drag her away. The incident inspires Rui to build a custom replacement HUD for 2B to compensate for her missing gear, promising to restore some of her tactical interface—even if he can't match future military specs.

March sat up straighter. “Wait, wait, wait. You’re telling me there’s an entire world that *isn’t* dealing with interstellar nonsense? No overpowered space corporations, no Aeons randomly influencing fate, no—wait.” She squinted at the screen. “Does that say *elemental energy*?”
Himeko nodded, a small smirk forming. “That’s the only thing we know about it. Apparently, it runs on an energy system completely different from anything else we’ve encountered. Not the Path, not the Fragmentum, not even ether. Just… something else. In fact, the name Teyvat was only made known due to a random signal sent out by that planet with its name amber eras ago.”
Dan Heng stared at the data, his fingers tapping absently against the table. “That’s unusual. Even if the Aeons don’t directly interfere, every world is shaped by them in some way. A planet with no signs of aeonic influence at all? There’s no precedent for that.”
“The IPC wanted to investigate Teyvat but suddenly stopped due to unknown reasons. It could be dangerous to go to Teyvat,” Welt pointed out, his mind lost in thought.
March grinned. “Which means we *have* to go, right?”
