Mu Qing scowled.
“Hey dickwad,” he whisper-hissed, “keep drooling over my ass and I’ll stick my foot up yours.”
Feng Xin, the dickwad in question, blushed furiously as he hurried to match Mu Qing’s pose.

Summary
This was torture. Lan Xichen was torturing him. He really had been scheming all this time, Jiang Cheng decided, scheming to torture him with perverted and shameless fantasies until he went mad from sleep deprivation.
Well that fucker had another thing coming. This marked the third day since his last visit to the Cloud Recesses. Four more days. Then he’d return for their standing appointment.
Either to fuck Lan Xichen or kill him. He’d decide when he got there.
He lifted his head enough to finish the wine, dropped it back on the table, then hiccuped.
* * *
four days later. . .
When Jiang Cheng sobered up, he realized his fuck or kill plan was insane. Obviously he couldn’t do either of those things, no matter how much he wanted to—not that he wanted to fuck Lan Xichen. He didn’t. Obviously. That had been the wine talking.
Obviously.
(or: A very dense Jiang Cheng misinterprets Lan Xichen’s painfully subtle proposal of courtship by convincing himself that Lan Xichen must be plotting something nefarious. (Why else would he waste his time drinking tea and taking strolls with a bad-tempered, bullheaded asshole he barely knows??))

And when he thinks of Himeno, he cries. He sees the tailends of her smile from beyond a lighter’s glow and his chest feels like it’s being crushed. His own movement on the hospital bed mirrors hers when the night was too quiet to spend alone, just before she fell asleep holding him, and he has to stay very still if he doesn’t want to break into pieces. He thinks of Himeno and doesn’t remember a work partner, he thinks of Himeno and remembers everything.
In which Aki handles his grief over Himeno's death: by recalling their relationship throughout the years, acknowledging the way it was shaped by their complementary vices. And finally, finally— admitting how he feels about it all.

Summary
He’d once tasted a similar pain long ago, but this blade had only grazed him then, and never once desired to leave its mark. It had sulked and begged forgiveness for its transgression, which Xie Lian had freely given. It had, after all, been an accident. Xie Lian hadn’t been its rightful target, and the blade’s killing aura had been tamed just before it struck, leaving him with no lasting effects. That day, there had truly been no harm done.
This time, however, Eming seemed to have driven itself into him entirely on purpose.
Gasping for breath amidst a sea of his own blood, Xie Lian struggles to remember what happened to him—and why Hua Cheng isn't there with him.

“…Shit.”As they deal with the stress of an unexplained plague in the South, Mu Qing and Feng Xin’s bickering takes a turn for the worse as Feng Xin unintentionally brings up Mu Qing’s mother.
Mu Qing storms off and ends up in his mother’s tomb, and unwittingly gives himself up to a monster in the disguise of his beloved mother.
As Mu Qing is on the verge of dying at the hands of the monster, he subconsciously sends a prayer to Feng Xin in his last moments.
Feelings ensue. Feng Xin probably ascends for a second time.

"Griffith wanted to run, to hide from the potential humiliation of Guts seeing him like this, but he knew his body was capable of next to nothing. Instead, he stared at the rough cobblestone of the floor, almost praying it would be the torturer instead. Flickering light partially illuminated the cell and Griffith felt his heart pounding against his ribcage as though it’d burst through his chest at any moment. The footsteps were now approaching him clear as day."
like the title implies, this is my own rendition of the events from that chapter but with a focus on griffith's perspective.
