Summary
Eddie Diaz has just started at the 118 and is cousins to Alex and June Claremont Diaz, also known as the First Son of the United States and First Daughter of the United States. Eddie's relationship with his cousins are introduced to the 118 early on. Buck and Eddie's relationship grows throughout and an event in DC brings them together. Buck is welcomed into the extended family and everyone realizes they're regular people in high profile jobs.
Starts around 911 Season 2 and follows the series as best we can. We'll also be following the RWRB book more than the movie, but some elements from the movie may slip in depending on the situation.
This was inspired by our mutual adoration of 911 and Red, White and Royal Blue. Fans of 911 who are not aware of RWRB, we highly recommend reading the book and watching the movie. It is a cute rom-com book and the movie is good, too. And those RWRB fans, who do not know of 911, check it out! 6 seasons and still going strong. Although, we both have differing reasons as to why we watch. But you can blame Centeast for the RWRB fandom adoration! She introduced SapphireEJ when the book first came out!

Summary
Life continues after the dust storm. Owen continues to recover from surgery, but the department decides it's time for the 126 to have a captain leading in Owen's place while he's out on medical leave. This brings in Billy to run the firehouse temporarily, what he's always wanted. Owen gets pissed and instead of staying in town, he thinks the department is trying to get rid of him, so he extends his leave and heads an hour outside of Austin to a cabin in the woods. Everyone tries in their own way to get Owen to come back, but it takes a familiar friend to help him come back to reality.
Before life in Austin can finally settle down, Eddie and Buck are navigating some possible changes in their family and professional lives, and someone goes missing. No one knows why.
Set before ice storm in season 3 of 911 Lone Star.

Summary
After Buck and Eddie return to LA from the fires in Texas, Maddie shares with Buck, Eddie, Owen, TK, Carlos, and Bobby that she's invited the Buckly parents to visit LA. Buck's not happy, but his chosen family is there to help him deal with their arrival. Needing some processing time afterward learning something about his past, Buck heads back to Austin to spend some time with Owen and TK. While there, TK has a hiccup in his relationship with Carlos, and Buck is glad to be there for his brother.
