“You need to get the fuck out of here before I call the cops.” Derek pauses a moment, his nostrils flaring just a second before his eyes flash burning red, his entire face screwing up in this expression of pure disgust that sends a shiver down Stiles’ spine. “Christ, and you’re a human? A human omega? What kind of fucking moron breaks into a werewolves’ house when they’re just a weak fucking human?”

He'd worked too hard for that, burying his talents and skills for the sake of peace in the Jiang Household. They probably though he was still living in their garage, not in a tent in the woods. And Wei Wuxian would keep it that way, remaining unnoticed until he graduated from the College of Cultivation and landed a job.
At least that was a plan until the Heir to the Barrier himself fell from the sky and crashed into his tent.

The window slid open with ease and Wei Ying climbed out into the tree. He would get settled somewhere and then write to Lan Zhan. They could exchange letters, until Wei Ying managed to afford a phone so they could talk. Maybe Lan Zhan could visit him.
Wei Ying stole away into the night, not then aware of what else he was taking away with him. He wouldn’t know for another four months the gift Lan Zhan had given him, growing inside him. He also didn’t know that he would never get any replies back from his letters to Lan Zhan.
Thirteen years after Wei Ying received no response to his letters about their son, he meets Lan Zhan again.
