Summary
Aerith Gainsborough has died many times in many timelines. With every kill, Jenova wears a different face and manipulates different puppets. A game of multi-dimensional chess is underway, forcing this physical manifestation of Holy to sacrifice herself in order to split timelines and move her pieces between them.
Cloud Strife is a broken man with a tenuous grip on reality. Cut off by friends and driven by obsession, he no longer knows who he is, let alone what he's fighting for.
Sephiroth is an experiment and will never be anything more. He isn't human, and the whispers of a creature tucked away in Nibelheim only underscore this reality. The Silver Sword does whatever he's told, and pushing him into using free will is easier said than done.
Genesis Rhapsodos and Angeal Hewley are willing to throw everything away for him, to cut ties with Shinra in support of the man who saved their lives.
Zack Fair is a SOLDIER First Class and a hero in the making. Steadfast and determined, he's the unstoppable force to anyone's immovable object, and maybe the key to tying everyone else together.

The RDA weren't convinced. Fortunately for them, making a recombinant was getting easier and easier, and they'd already proven once they could do it with Quaritch. Unfortunately for him, it wouldn't exactly do to have copies running around.
He knew his duty and he accepted his fate. He could only hope that whatever had gone wrong with him wouldn't go wrong with the next one.
The RDA didn't want to leave anything to chance.

In this new dimension, it's like the apocalypse Cloud remembers was half-averted. Mako's still around, ShinRa's in business, and Tifa supposedly died years ago under Cloud's JENOVA-fueled rampage. The other problem? Everyone's alive, looking for answers, and this dimension is a little more different than it seems.
It's hard, taking out reactors while being hunted across the continent by the people who are apparently your soulmates. It's hard, and no one understands.

Summary
After the battle at the Three Brothers rocks, the Sullys arrive at Awa'atlu to prepare for Neteyam's return to Eywa and to help the Metkayina recover from the catastrophic losses as a result of the hunt for Jake and his family.
Word had spread, however, about a human boy who had travelled with the Avatars and helped bring destruction to villages and Tulkun herds for months. When Spider returns with the Sullys, his decisions while he was held by the RDA come to consequences he wishes he didn't deserve.
He does deserve it, though. He knows this much. He doesn't understand many of the things that have happened to him, but he does know this. Why else would the Sullys leave him for so long?

The one where Jake takes 10-15 business days to swap one son for another and Spider barely makes it back to him alive.

In Nibelheim, Shifters ate nothing. He was always hungry, the bone-deep malnutrition making him weak and skinny where he could have been powerful. If he got animal meat, it was occasional at best, and it wasn’t enough to quell the hunger in his belly. If he tried human meat, he would be killed. And monster meat… oh, monster meat was so much worse.
