“Matt is not here. If that’s why you came.” Neil said after another second. He looked at Andrew suspiciously.
“I am not here because of Matt.” At that, Neil just looked confused. He lifted his arm to rub at the back of his head, and Andrew had a clear view of Neil’s abs where his shirt was riding up. He forced himself to look back at Neil’s face again.
“I need a favor.” He pressed out. Saying it out loud actually hurt. Now there was even more confusion on Neil’s face. He squinted his eyes at him, suspiciously.
“What the hell do you want from me?” Andrew rolled his eyes.
“The favor is not exactly for me.” Neil sent him a blank look.
“Look-“ he was interrupted by a jaw-cracking yawn, he didn’t even cover his mouth (rude?) “I'm trying to catch up on some sleep, so either you get to the fucking point or you can fuck right off.” Ah. There it was. The reason he hated the guy.

“Stop being stubborn, you stupid fish.” Aaron bends down to wrap his arm around the mermaid’s back and before he can try to get a hold of his tail, the merman shoves at him with a refusing sound. Aaron swats his hands away and the mermaid hits him back. “Hey.” Aaron scolds before trying to pick him up again, only for webbed fingers to smack him a second time. Aaron slaps him back and the situation is absurd enough that he almost wants to laugh. He’s getting himself into a cat-fight with a fucking mermaid.
“Hey.” Aaron says again, louder and jabbing a finger into the merman’s face. “I am not going to leave you out here stranded and bleeding out.” The mermaid’s eyes are dazzling green, narrowed and unamused by Aaron’s reprimand, but they do glance downwards towards his injured tail. “So you’re going to let me help you. Yes?”

Summary
Seth moved to stand behind him, glancing at the piece on the wall. It was an old one, almost buried beneath the collage of paper, and when Seth reached past the stranger to pull it down, he realised what it was.
A monarch butterfly; delicate, orange and black patterned wings, edges flecked with white, spreading open on the page as if soaring across the paper. Seth remembered sketching this design, painstakingly coloring it in pencil, reds and yellows blended to form the sunset shades that contrasted sharply with the black veins of the wings. Seth knew it as well as he knew his name- this was one of the few artworks of his that he bore on his own skin.
“This,” the stranger said, turning to look up at him.

“So what was the plan, Nicholas? Drug Kevin and cozy up to him?”
“Nooo. It was just supposed to make him more relaxed and me more magnetic. Or, well, whoever he looked at first when he drank it. Which was supposed to be me.”
“But I didn’t drink it. Aaron drank it. While looking at me.”
“So, what, Aaron’s in love with you now?” Neil asks. Aaron scoffs, a blush rising on his cheeks. He takes a straw from one of the empty glasses on the table and flicks it across the table at Neil, who bats it away.
“This is stupid. And it’s bullshit. Love potions are not real. Besides, I wouldn’t need a potion to fall in love with Kevin. He’s wonderful.”

Every selfish molecule in Jeremy's body is screaming at him to say no, because he never wants to see Jean Moreau again, but he cannot let his personal pain dictate this decision. Objectively, Jean Moreau is the best backliner the sport has ever seen, and with him on their line the Trojans could finally win a championship. Less objectively, he knows more about the Nest than Kevin thinks he does, and he does not want to know how injured Jean has to be to actually warrant dismissal, considering what he knows he has played through.
Jean deserves to get out of there, and if Kevin thinks that this is the only way to get him out, then Jeremy has to agree.
Even if it breaks him in the process.

He could hear Atsumu’s thoughts.
