Astarion pulled Killian to his feet and caught him when he swayed, his head finally buzzing empty – no headache, no thoughts, no dark urge.
He couldn’t smell the stink in the air any longer. Face buried in Astarion’s neck, he breathed in something citrus, something earthy, something sharp. He breathed and clung and let his empty head buzz with nothing and nothing and glorious nothing for he knew not how long. Eventually the sewers faded away and like waking from a dream, he was out on the street again, the day all too bright and loud and bustling merrily on, oblivious to what had happened below.
The bag full of Orin was still slung dutifully over Astarion’s shoulder. Killian looked to Shadowheart, the cleric, and then Jaheira, who could probably see the good in anyone, if she had found it in him.
“Come on,” he said. He was steady on his own two feet now. He was sure. “We're going to give her a funeral.”

Or, the Dark Urge has feelings about narrowly escaping a death cult, and gives his sister the funeral I think she deserved.

They had made it beyond the city lights and into the small patch of trees before their usual haunt when Kyren found himself pressed up against a large oak tree.
A breath of shock punched out of his lungs as he met Astarion’s gaze.
His eyes looked so foreign to how Kyren was accustomed to seeing them. Every time Cazador reminds him of his 133-year “mistake,” the shame presses firmer into his ribs, a constant reminder of what was lost. What he'd had.
Astarion wonders what it was all for—every stolen moment together, every cruel lesson in return, and the ever-increasing shadowed years building.
And finally, he decides: If he cannot reach the sun, nor bask in its light… then he will simply leap toward it.

Astarion was content to spend the rest of eternity here with his sleeping beauty. Content to watch his chest expand with each breath; to hear his strong heartbeat keeping steady rhythm; to feel his warmth seeping into every inch of Astarion and wrapping round and round his dead heart until he could pretend they lived in one skin.
Astarion and Durge enjoy an afternoon together after ridding the world of Cazador and Orin. If you've ever wanted a little something more after the Dark Urge successfully resists the Urge, you'll enjoy this fic.
