Summary
Xiao and Aether have been tentatively exploring their relationship for years. Now that his journey is completed and their world is at peace, a quiet life at the fringes of Liyue harbor is all that Aether could ever ask for. Between Xiao and Lumine, he has more than enough family to be satisfied... or so he'd always thought.
Aether should know by now that periods of peace and quiet can only last so long. When Xiao brings home an orphaned half-adeptus baby after the death of her mother, both of them are forced to consider what exactly they want out of their new life together and whether they're capable of carrying it out in the first place.
Thankfully, they won't have to do it alone. Supportive friends and family are just a call away, and they have each other to lean on, too. Between all of them, they can surely figure something out.

Summary
Xiao is the name he was given upon his new contract with the great dragon Rex Lapis, but before that, he was Alatus, a weak adeptus twisted to the whim of the God of Dreams. The blood on his hands and karmic debt on his shoulders corrupt his Heart and drive him toward death, until he happens across an otherworldly light stumbling through a lonely valley.
Aether has visited and fled more worlds than he can count, careful never to get attached, but this is the first time he's truly been trapped on any one of them, stripped of his power and split from his sister. He is certain he will starve and fade, chained by his immortality to a life of unending agony, unable to even put himself to rest— until he meets a lost and achingly gentle adeptus who brings him new hope.
It will be a long time before either of them learn how to receive the love they are given.

Summary
Troubled by how he doesn't understand how Xiao thinks, despite crushing on him hard, Aether ends up acquiring a hairclip with Xiao-mind-reading abilities, made by Cloud Retainer, to help him.
Now, Aether has to spend the entire day doing commissions with Xiao and listening to his... really, really noisy thoughts, about how cute Aether is, or how he wants to touch his waist, or run his fingers through his hair, or--
It's gonna be a long, long day.

Summary
As the new high school counselor, Aether has been received quite well so far. Sure, his students may have grown too comfortable and like to tease by calling him 'ma'am' instead of 'sir' or flicking at his braid. But other than that, he feels like he has truly found his place.
So, Aether cannot fathom why or who on earth would suddenly begin a series of vandalized attacks against his home. And he is starting to suspect that the neighborhood delinquent may have something to do with it.
After all, this is the same delinquent who happens to have a habit of watching him from around the corner or suddenly pinning him against walls.

Summary
As the children fathered by an outsider, Aether and Lumine are used to being treated differently than all the other kids in the village they grew up in. When the time comes for them to choose a sacrifice for each of the guardian 'demons' who watch over the land, sending the two of them off seems like a simple choice to the villagers. Aether isn't too thrilled about being thrown away by the people who were supposed to be like a family to him but when he meets the 'demon' he was sacrificed to, he comes to learn that the humans he grew up with were the least human of all.
