Banjo raised an eyebrow. “What was on your list of priorities then?”
“Strengthening One for All and not dying at the hands of All for One?”
“Oh right, I forgot about that.”
Hikage gave him an incredulous look. “How-”“Hey Nana.” Yoichi said conversationally. “Do you happen to know if Eighth has a shellfish allergy?”

Summary
On paper, the Hero Commission's plan to investigate Midoriya Izuku under the guise of a training course for combating mental quirks is solid; foolproof, even. If Midoriya turns out to be innocent, they can pass everything off as part of the training exercise, assuming he remembered any of it. Otherwise, they could beg forgiveness after the traitor was securely imprisoned in Tartarus.
The paper plan failed to take into account the feral ghosts living in Midoriya Izuku's head, or his equally feral living friends.
Time to bring on the chaos.

In most universes, Darth Vader either doesn’t realize or doesn’t care about the strain he puts his officers under. Working impossible hours, running unimaginable risks, struggling against unreasoning expectations. Firmus Piett loses more and more sleep, frantic to keep Death Squadron together even as the bags grow under his eyes and the stress starts to tell in his face. The relentless Maximilian Veers marches and fights and conquers and uses up reserves he can’t afford to burn.
In some, he does realize it before Endor and changes course. After Bespin and sometimes after Hoth and in others it’s after the capture of Luke Skywalker.
(It usually takes a lot of pain for him to make that change, however, and this particular universe is no different.)
In this one, Vader has the crucial revelation at the second battle of Umbara.

Summary
Grian finds it upsettingly easy to remember how to walk in the void. Not that it’s a hard thing to do – you just swing down into the darkness, and expect there to be something to stand on, and there is. Easy! It’s an easy little trick.
The hard part, of course, is getting that little touch of other in your bloodstream that’s necessary to make the void to listen to you. The upsetting part of ‘easy’, of course, is exactly the same: that other is still there, inside him. He’d half hoped… but no. No, it’s still there, and that’s a good thing, he tells himself, firmly enough he almost believes it.
It’s good, because he’s going to need it, if he wants to get Scar back.
(In which Grian stages a rescue of sorts, Boatem's single collective braincell is nowhere to be found, and absolutely no lessons are learned by anyone. Especially not by Grian.)

The course was clear, then. Whatever had scared Wilbur had a less than ten percent chance of being fatal.
The Blade relaxed the skin around his eyes into something softer, mimicking Phil whenever one of his children came to him with a problem. As expected, it decreased Wilbur's stress signals by a significant margin; he sniffled and wiped his eyes with a fist, venturing down the steps, and glanced at the dark treeline with an uncertain waver.
"Techno?" he asked, small. "I, um. I didn't want to wake up Dad."
