Taehyung's been gone six days when the first postcard arrives. The front of the card shows a blue outline of China. Jimin snags it out of their apartment's post box on his way to work and reads it on the metro, one hand grabbing the pole above his head, shoulders curled in to create sanctuary and reads:
I miss you horrifically and it has only been hours. There is a stuffed giraffe at this airport store and it looks like Namjoon-hyung and I want to buy it for him. JK laughed and laughed. One day I will take you to Nepal without any of my equipment and you can see my gods from below. I love you. I will be safe. Call when I can - bye Min.
Taehyung climbs mountains. Jimin tries to breathe through it.

Summary
The moment Jimin's eyes meet Taehyung's, the world comes to a sudden stop, and Taehyung feels his breath catch in his throat.
It's been a long time since they last saw each other. Graduation day, six years ago. Back then, Jimin still had dark hair and his cheeks retained some of the fat from childhood. Now, Jimin's hair is dyed blonde, and his jaw is as angular and defined as the rest of his body.
One thing that hasn't changed, though, is his attitude. After the initial moment of surprise at seeing his old rival, his eyebrows furrow and his lips purse. He takes a step back, crosses his arms over his chest. He looks defensive.
Taehyung is not surprised, but he does wish things were easier.
There is a long moment of eye contact, and then Namjoon announces.
"Everyone, meet the new choreographer for this season: Kim Taehyung!"
OR, ballet school rivals vmin meet again when Taehyung is appointed choreographer after a bad injury, and needs to work with principal dancer Jimin, helping him reach his full potential in the role that ended Taehyung's career.
