Summary
Jinu kept his word, the Saja Boys don’t intervene, and allow Huntrix to establish the golden Honmoon. What does this mean for Rumi, when she gets everything she’s ever wanted, but nothing goes to plan? What happens to a half demon when the Honmoon takes effect?
Blood runs deep, and Gwi-Ma won’t give up so easily. With a new obstacle and a new ally, Rumi and Jinu must navigate the starving underworld and unearth the mystery of Rumi’s origins while attempting to find their way back to Earth. Meanwhile, Mira and Zoey are left in the wake of Rumi’s apparent disappearance, and must try to piece together the secrets of their missing friend, and help unravel the wrongs of generations from the opposite side of the Hunmoon.
What brings us shame? Who controls your fate? And what are you supposed to do when you find yourself on the wrong side of the wall you built?

Summary
Under the careful and protective guidance of Celine, the Huntrix Boys grow closer to sealing the Honmoon in gold and saving humanity. Jinu hopes that with this, he can finally atone for his past and bury his secret shame. Before their greatest song can be performed, however, a new masked demonic girl band calling themselves the Saja Girls emerges onto the music scene. What should have been a usual hunt to take the girls down changes when the impossible happens- their leader bleeds when cut during the fight.
Half-human, half-demon, Rumi has known since she was young that the permanent sealing of the Honmoon would kill her. That was the only reason her father allowed her to ascend to the human realm with her friends by her side. As Mira and Zoey fight and sing to save her life, Rumi aims to achieve her personal goal.

this one cooks. no crumbs left on the table, the plate, the countertops... not even the pan. Billionare Gwi-ma just makes sense to me for some reason and the father-daughter dynamic between Rumi and Gwi-ma in this fic is something I'm quite interested in reading more about. :)

But the dreams began, always reoccurring, each time, more clear than the next.
Every few nights, Rumi found herself standing at the entrance of an aquarium she’d never visited. And always, without fail, Jinu would be there. Smirking. Waiting.
In the waking world, Rumi trained harder. Fought colder. Smiled & talked less.
Yet, in her dreams, she laughed with Jinu again. Smiled more, and was filled with warmth.
Last night, the dream lasted longer. Clearer. The two of them walked side by side beneath jellyfish and glowing fish. Rumi heard her own laughter echo off the glass.
It felt real — Too real.
And when she woke up, her fingers still tingled like they had brushed against Jinu’s just before the dream ended.

This fic is really intriguing. I mainly see EAH fics focusing on the present/future of the main casts' lives with brief mentions to the past, but so far this one is set in the past. The swapped at birth theory between Raven and Apple is a popular one, but I think the author writes it really well and meshes all of the subplots together quite nicely. Wonderful fic!

chatfics have my heart. they're both serious and unserious at the same time. it's a shame this one hasn't updated in over six months because this fic is genuinely hilarious and adorable, but finds moments to actually lock in and deal with emotional stuff properly at times. definitely give this a read if arcane chatfics are right up your alley
