Summary
Charlie Swan had never given much thought about his life. His life seemed to be set out before him with little choice. Graduate highschool in Forks, take over his dad’s auto repair shop in Forks, marry a girl, and raise a family in Forks. It was all Forks. An insignificant life for an insignificant man. A straightforward path that was shattered in an instant.

Summary
When Whitaker accidentally sends a dick pic to Dr. Robby, he never thought it would end like this.
--
The ED team shuffles out, Whitaker and Dr. Robby taking up the rear. Dr. Robby stops him with a hand on Whitaker’s waist, there and gone. “Really,” he says low, directly into his ear, beard scratching his cartilage, “that was amazing. You didn’t waste any time starting compressions. That probably saved that baby’s life. You saved that baby’s life.”
The praise goes to his head, suffusing him with endorphins. “Thank you, Dad.” And he promptly wants to crawl out of his skin and slither down the drain with the after birth slop.

Summary
Steve Rogers has lived for entirely too long—long enough to see the world's end. The heroes are gone, and the Earth is pushing what's left of mankind towards the exit.
But when a makeshift team rises from the ashes, when a mysterious presence all but drags Steve there, he begins to think there may be hope yet. As they shoot for the stars one last time, Steve will get proof yet again that the future is nothing if not an echo of the past.

Summary
A distress signal gets broadcast into the New Avengers Tower, and weirdly, its timestamp reads 1949. Yelena thinks nothing of it until she reports it to Bucky, who thoroughly loses his shit. And so this ragtag dysfunctional team’s first mission ends up being to New York City, 1949 to save Steve Rogers from one incredible returning-the-Infinity-Stones mission fuck-up. Or, in other words, to get Bucky his boyfriend back.

Summary
In the aftermath of New York, the freshly formed team is still trying to figure out how to live and work together without some kind of property damage.
Naturally, nothing says 'Team Bonding' like the decision to fix their fearless leader's love-life and hunt down an AWOL Steve Rogers.
Or, the Thunderbolts break a few timelines, attempt to un-fuck history, and decide they maybe, possibly, kinda tolerate each other in the process.

Summary
But Steve was fine.
Sure, he hadn’t seen Bucky in months, and sometimes he was at the punching bag so long that his skin started to peel off to expose the bones of his fingers, and sometimes he couldn’t find the energy to drag himself out of bed, and sometimes he went weeks without sleeping, and sometimes he thought about throwing himself head-first off the nearest tall structure, but he was fine.
He was absolutely, perfectly, one-hundred percent, fucking fine.

It didn’t escape him that Steve shared his assumed last name. “Are you gonna be my cousin?” Bucky asked dully.
Steve frowned. “Husband, actually,” he said easily, holding up his left hand to show a typical golden band.
Bucky scowled and closed the door.

Summary
They’ve decided to start producing Bucky Bears again, now that he’s all shiny and redeemed and fighting for good on this big Avengers misfits team. "He has a little shiny gray arm," Bucky says, wiggling the stuffed arm in question, one of the tweaks made in the new model. It takes Steve a second to realize that Bucky’s got a small smile on his face, actually looks a little bit proud around the eyes.
Or, Bucky relearns himself and how to be on a team, the rest of the Avengers try to get answers, and everyone watches too much Criminal Minds.

Summary
“I miss him too,” Sam says. “Thickest skull I’d ever seen, but a damn good friend.”
Bucky tears up the next blade of grass with unnecessary force. “Sure,” he says.
There’s a lot he’s thinking. That he can’t forgive Steve for this, for leaving him behind in the future with absolutely nobody. Sam’s his closest friend now, and they’ve tried to kill each other more times than they’ve talked. That of all the people Steve could’ve settled down with, he picked the one that meant he would live his entire life away from Bucky.
“You know you can talk to me, right?” Sam says, standing up. “Not just about this. If you wanna catch up on the last hundred years, I can show you a movie or two.”

Summary
Every instinct in Jayce's body told him to run. To get out of the house, go to the car, drive to his mother’s or the Kirammans’ or perhaps even the police station.
Instead, he simply sat in place, staring ahead and panting heavily as the room slowly warmed again.
Jayce was convinced. Caitlyn, though joking, had been right.---

Summary
Jayce pulls him up till he’s sitting, bringing him to his chest and holding him closer. It seems cruel to think of separating, even by an inch. “I love you,” he says, because it’s true. Because Viktor needs to know. Because the words have been trying to burst from his throat since the minute they woke up. “I should’ve told you before we- I mean. I should’ve said. I didn’t want to die without you knowing. I don’t know why I didn’t. I love you. I’ve loved you.”
Viktor lets out a choked gasp from where his head is buried in the crook between Jayce’s neck and shoulder. “What?”

or what happens after the ending of arcane- the slightly more positive version where Jayce and Viktor wake up somewhere new, together and very much alive.
