Standing under the spotlight, Corpse looked different. He seemed taller somehow, his shoulders cutting a striking figure against the glittering backdrop. His forearms were exposed and his throat seemed to stretch for miles, a long vertical line that made Sykkuno’s mouth dry dry dry. The lights bounced off his skin in purple-pink hues, and Sykkuno felt rooted on the spot. Corpse had tattoos.
(OR: Corpse has a bunch of tattoos — to the point that it’s hard to discern which one of them is his soulmate’s, and that’s kinda the whole point. Sykkuno only has this small little thing under his ribcage, and sometimes he can almost convince himself that he doesn't care that there’s someone out there for him)

Summary
After Fred dies, George doesn't think anything will ever be okay again. Not until Harry Potter inserts himself into his life out of nowhere, full of warm smiles and tender touches that make him melt. The world brightens around him, and soon George is laughing again, he's smiling, he's realizing that if this is what the rest of his life will look like, he's more than willing to live it. Because whilst Fred may be gone, George isn't. And for all that he will miss his twin, Fred would skin him alive if he threw that away for nothing.
Or: George Weasley falls hopelessly, irrevocably, disgustingly in love with Harry Potter and realizes how to be okay somewhere along the way.

Summary
George stands before him in the doorway, like a gangly, terrible ghost. His face is heinously pale, which makes the dark bags under his eyes pop in a way that is altogether unflattering, and he wears only a large, striped sweater and a pair of boxers with bats on them. His hair is much longer than it had been last time Harry had seen him, and it’s pulled back into a loose knot. “Harry,” he says, and it comes out breathlessly.
“George.” Harry stands there, wholly encapsulated by familiar heartache just at the sight of his friend. His eyes flick past him to investigate the flat. Clothes and dirty dishes are strewn all over the living room and, if he’s not mistaken, there are at least three pairs of underwear hanging from the ceiling fan. He glances back at George, who is now leaning against the doorway staring at him, expressionless. Harry clears his throat. “I, um… came for a visit. Sorry.”
