His breath came out in short, shallowed gasps. The snow, the biting chill of the wind, it was all the same. Too familiar, too much like home. Yet, he knew all too well that this wasn't the kingdom he knew. However, did he know the very place he was raised in as much as his title suggests? Dark Choco's lone eye blinked a few times, as if that was going to fix it. He wiped his hands on his shirt, his blood smearing onto the fabric. His mind still couldn't comprehend all that had happened. It all happened way too fast. Nothing ever felt real. Well, not anymore. All they could ever do was walk forward, bracing themselves for whatever lay ahead.

Summary
What would happen if the ancient cookies met dragon versions of themselves from an alternate universe? What would it mean for both groups to see their past/future through what feels like a funhouse mirror?
They can’t dwell on such thoughts for too long though, not when the five Ancients find themselves confronted with shocked beasts lashing out because of fear, and the Dragons finding themselves in a world they don’t belong to.
