All he knows is he’s standing in front of Roy’s door, and his fingers are red with blood from the cut under his eye, and he wants to go to sleep and never wake up.
Roy’s already in bed, probably, and he’s gonna be fucking angry to be woken up. Maybe Jamie should just go home. Sleep it off. Skip practice tomorrow.
But Roy said to come. He sat Jamie down all serious-like and said if his Da got within ten fucking feet of him, to come to his place. Jamie’s just trying to do what he said.

When Simon Riley dug his way out of the grave Roba buried him in the man was still there waiting for him. Two months later Simon Riley was dead and Ghost was all that remained. Roba's attack dog, highly skilled, and damn near perfectly trained too. NEAR, perfectly trained.
When Ghost decides to disobey an order to take out a soldier for reasons he can't explain he expects Roba's retribution. He doesn't expect the rescue that follows though. Nor does he expect that rescue to actually be a rescue rather than a weapons acquisition.
Slowly Ghost begins to find a place in the 141. And he finds that Simon Riley might not be as dead as he thought. -

Lando huffs, turning back to his folding. He can feel his cheeks heating.
Long arms wrap around his waist, pulling him back against Oscar’s chest. The dom presses a kiss to his cheek. “It’s just three nights, baby,” he murmurs in Lando’s ear. “That’s practically nothing.”

He only saw Charles after the wedding from his door. Charles’s room is right across from Lando’s. It’s for Carlos’s convenience. Dividing your time and space between two omegas can be a hassle, you know. From the wide open door as Carlos left, he saw Charles watch Carlos go, his legs hanging from the bed’s edge. He just caught a glimpse, but the fresh bite, in all its glory: dried blood and aggressive swelling, was noticeable from a distance. Charles winced as he smiled at Carlos; he looked like he was in pain. But all he remembers thinking is, God, they were right. He’s devastatingly beautiful.

It’s not that Max Verstappen needs to stop adopting children, it’s that the Redline brats that Max has been giving spare sets of keys to his apartment in case of emergencies need to stop breaking into said apartment without even the whiff of an excuse.
Lando could at least pretend that all of the appliances in his kitchen are magically simultaneously malfunctioning, and so there is no way for him to eat—because who ever thought of ordering in when you could cross the country in under twenty minutes and raid Max’s fridge; or Gabi could look Max dead in the eye and lie about the water in his apartment not working, and so he must come over to Max’s, because he does have running water.
Actually, Max might have believed that one if Gabi hadn’t brought Ollie along on that particular intrusion as well.
