On your travels, you find a dead boar on the side of the road. It turns out that it was killed by a vampire and it seems like Astarion knows more about it than he lets on. In the end, you decide to drop the subject for the evening and discuss it in the morning. You're barely asleep before you're awoken by the sight of Astarion leaning over you, about to sink his fangs into you.
Deciding to let him bite you ends up being the best, and hottest decision you've ever made.
