Summary
Dr. Wheeler did not touch Reverend Byers on Sunday. He did not kiss him, even when they woke up in the same bed. Will woke up before the first light of morning broke the horizon, the gray hue of pre-dawn signaling the sun's imminent arrival. It would soon illuminate all the buildings of the small town of Hawkins, peeling back shadows and glinting off of window panes.
or, the year is 1887 and in a small town on the Kansas prairie, things go terribly wrong

Summary
The sun was high and hot and the world had taken on that wonderful film-grain again, the yellows turning golden and the greens turning yellow and everything deep and rich and wonderful, as if they’d all climbed inside Sirius’s old camera and as if they could stay there for as long as they liked, because the world only existed as far as the rocky horizon, and that was plenty big enough for the four of them.
It's a Canadian roadtrip adventure! The perfect summer, apart from the way Remus is doing Sirius's head in, and the way Sirius can't figure out why.

Summary
There's something blazingly incongruous about Remus in the wintertime. He's golden: sunshine and honeybees, caramel curls and freckles like dappled sunlight. Even his clothes seem borrowed, and temporary, as if he might've just thrown on an extra layer for a moment in the knowledge that his own innate aestival nature would be quite enough to stave off the worst of the chill. Something at home in long balmy nights, and mornings when the gardens teem with life and song. Wonderfully out of place in the winter: a happy visitor to the season, an ember in the frost.
Christmastime in the Cotswolds: cold hands, crackling fires, and Remus's indefatigable quest for parsnips.

Summary
“What did you mean, ‘we’re not friends anymore’?” Will demands.
“Oh god,” Mike says faintly, because he can’t think of a single other thing to say.
“It’s Will, actually,” Will says. “Or maybe you forgot that in the five years since you last bothered to speak to me before you sent me this.”
He unfolds his arms to brandish a crumpled envelope in Mike’s face, and he knows without even looking at his own handwriting on the front exactly what it is.
(or, the summer after all his friends graduate from college, mike writes will a letter to say goodbye. predictably, nothing about this goes as planned.)
