Lilith, while navigating through the Spring Court and Fae customs, realizes her own shifting perceptions and uses them to gain favor in the Court.
The pair, distrustful and wary of each other at first, learn from one another. Gaining a new insight into how their pasts have shaped their identities and relishing the changes marking their future. A future where forgiveness, love, compassion, and healing will never end.

“By all means, get it off my desk as well,” he told her dryly. Her chest heaved in the pretty silver dress she wore, pressing her breasts up against the neckline. Lucien had to look at his hands to stop looking at her body, though she was closer than she'd ever been.
