That one line stuck out to me, and I couldn't not make an angsty fanfic from it. Like, I'm sorry, being defanged sounds horrific, allow me to make angst from that. There should have been a bit more of a reaction from the vampires after that line.

Summary

Summary
Husk was used to not seeing Angel Dust until around three in the morning most nights he was at work. Only on rare occasions does Valentino let the spider demon leave the studio before the sun goes down. Most nights, it’s alright. Angel comes in, asks for a drink, and stays with Husk until five AM, after which the cat demon closes the bar and the two of them go up to Angel’s room and pretend it was normal that two people who definitely were not dating and never would be sleeping together in the same bed, cuddled up warm and close under the covers until Angel woke up for the day’s activities and left Husk asleep while he did his morning routine.
That was most nights.
Some nights, however… things weren’t that normal. Husk could normally tell those nights apart just by the way Angel held himself.
