He’s sore and irritable after hours spent bent over his laptop researching something he should probably already know all about. He read blogs and watched vlogs and even watched an honest to god step by step tutorial that felt quite invasive. Hours of research have led him to two discoveries:
He has no idea how to make a nest.
This is very bad news.

"Yeah?" Katsuki asks, nonchalant. He leans against his door. Cool. Casual. Would running a hand through his hair be too much?
What the fuck, Katsuki.
"Yeah," Todoroki says. He thumbs over the cat pin on his messenger bag. "Can I ask you for a favour?"
OR: when the hot as(s) fuck neighbour asks him to help water his plants while he's gone, how can Katsuki say no?

“Bakugooooo!” It’s the only warning he gets before a body is landing on his own, Mina sprawled so dramatically across his back that his head dips from the impact. There’s a bite of real vitriol starting to sink its teeth in, but the moment he thinks to give into it—“You’re supposed to know everything! How did you ask Todoroki!?”
The world crumbles to a stop. It’s such an abrupt switch, the anger releasing all at once, that he’d blame it entirely for the way he falters – if not for the very real, very acute idea of distress that’s slowly settling in.
His mouth opens. Closes. Opens again, then closes hard enough that his teeth click shut. Mina’s gone silent and still behind him, but he has no possible way of knowing if it’s because she hasn’t realized how deeply she’s fucked up, or because she just doesn’t care.
What feels like an eternity later, he finally manages to croak: “What?”
***
in which mina is a terrible wingman, the universe is out to get him, and katsuki just wants a date to the fucking dance.

Summary
Will wrote many letters to Mike Wheeler while he was in California. However, due to a mix-up during the Byers' move back to Hawkins, one of their letters – a love confession filled with anger and frustration, written in the throes of teenage rage over unrequited love – ends up being sent to its recipient without their knowledge. The letter, however, gets lost in the mail, arriving in Hawkins years later, on an inauspicious afternoon for the miserable Will Byers, who freezes as he stares at his best friend approaching with his lost love letter in his hands.
In a fit of despair, Will makes a rash decision to avoid a conversation he definitely didn't want to have: he kisses the first person he sees.
Who ends up being Chance Lawson.

Finally, Midoriya pipes up during a lull in their homeroom course, “Aizawa-sensei, when do you think Todoroki-kun will be coming back?”
Aizawa pauses from where he’s writing on the chalkboard, bringing a pensive thumb up to his chin. Barely even glancing toward the class, he says, “He isn’t.”
And the world erupts into chaos.
Shouto quits being a Pro Hero. Katsuki, against all reason, misses him.

There is a place for you, here. I will bond with you and give you my name and protection. Take the first transport to the border of the Empire. I will arrange transport to Ironside. It will take you ten days, to reach me. I will be waiting for you, Steven.
It's not much. It's a handful of words and a promise and it's on the farside of the galaxy, past the Skrull Empire and into the Rim, the lawless planets that only freighters and pirates patrol. It's the place of people who want to be forgotten, the place of the truly desperate.
Well, he supposes he's that.

James Potter is returning to Hogwarts for his final year with one goal: to make it the most unforgettable one yet. No distractions, no regrets, no Lily Evans. Just Quidditch, pranks, and his boys. Until Regulus Black shows up looking taller, colder, and entirely too captivating for James' peace of mind.
As inter-house tensions rise and the Marauders navigate the looming weight of adulthood, James finds himself caught between loyalty and curiosity. Regulus is everything he shouldn’t want, but he can’t stop looking, and Regulus keeps looking back.
Meanwhile, Remus watches with too much understanding, Sirius refuses to see what's right in front of him, and Peter just wants everyone to survive N.E.W.T.s.
This is a story about the chaos of growing up, the messiness of friendship, and what happens when the one person you’re not supposed to fall for is the only one who sees you clearly.

“You tell me.” Jayce says, his voice trembling. “What’s this I’m hearing about you being pregnant?”
Oh, great.
Viktor pinches the bridge of his nose. “Wow, good news certainly travels fast around here.”

“This is wrong,” Jayce rasped, his voice strained with torment, so unlike the Jayce that had left mere hours ago to dance and drink and make merry and maybe even make love to the beautiful Mel Medarda. “This is too far back, I shouldn’t be here—”
This Jayce was like a wild animal, bearded and shaggy, furious and heartbroken.
The huge weapon thudded to the floor once again, and Viktor finally dared to speak.
“Jayce, is that… you?”
Stewing in his loneliness, research assistant Viktor witnesses an Anomaly take place in the laboratory he shares with Jayce Talis, potentially altering life as they know it (or might never come to know).

“So, what’s your relationship with Bakugou Katsuki?” The reporter asks. Shouto doesn’t know why she’s smiling at him like that. It’s weird. “Are you friends? Or maybe something… closer?”

Summary
The war is over.
You have never lived in a place without war. Maybe that’s why you chase it. Maybe that’s—
The simple summary of things. You almost died, but you didn’t, and now the blood on your hands is just the blood in your veins, and your older brother glares at you from across the table sat against his will on a chair bolted to the floor. You roll that phrase around your head for a bit, perhaps more than you should, because it doesn’t suit him.
Against his will. Touya never did anything against his will, to the best of your flimsy recollection. Dabi certainly didn’t.
Or: Shouto visits Touya in prison. This, besides a tragedy, is a choice.
