    Merlin held up a pinky and Arthur chuckled. He wrapped his own around it, like Merlin had once, long ago, taught him. Unlike those times, though, he brought their hands to his mouth and kissed Merlin’s fingers ever so gently.

    His smile only grew as he watched the tips of Merlin’s ears turn pink.
