He has found most of his memories have been forgotten as well, pardon the ones from the Parable and an extra select few. One of the memories lost, that his mind refuses to recover, is his name, causing him to desperately try to find out anything he can about himself and his past (sometimes. other times he just fucks around or deals with mental health idk)

The concept of home is complicated for one Marty McFly. "Home" is where Mom drinks herself into a stupor, and Dad is too chicken shit to prioritize his son over the folks who walk all over him. "Home" is a house full of yelling and negligence, of emotional manipulation and, dare he say it, abuse. Is that the right word? Does abuse have to be physical for it to be valid? Is being afraid of his own parents a red flag, or simple teenage angst?
But there is one place that "home" doesn't have to be put in quotes.
And Doctor Emmett Brown is going to make damn sure this brilliant, mischievous, compassionate young boy can finally be brought home after 17 years.
