Jayce can feel his eyes burning with tears all over again. He can’t look, he’s too ashamed. His friend needed help, and he’s getting fucking hard. “‘Mm sorry,” he mumbles thickly.
It’s quiet for a moment. Jayce’s lip quivers as he feels hot tears track down the sides of his cheekbones. He feels Viktor’s thighs shift, but doesn’t dare look away from the ceiling until Viktor’s face is in his direct line of sight. Jayce has never seen this expression on his partner’s face before … what is it? It makes his stomach feel like he left it back in the lab, floating around and around through currents of bright blue magic. He’s excited, but terrified.
Viktor grabs Jayce’s chin with one hand, leaning closer and closer. His gaze demands to be met. “Is this … turning you on?”

When Viktor blinks himself awake one morning with a distinct sense of wrongness he attributes it first to the immediate awareness that he is in Jayce's bedroom. In Jayce's bed. He knows exactly the contents of his desk and how the paintings are hung on his walls. And he knows for certain the rich scent of Jayce filling his lungs.
It takes him an additional minute after waking to realise where the sense of wrongness actually comes from.
When he stumbles to the mirror, it feels like he might be looking through it. Into the living room. Into some other part of the apartment. Because his mind simply cannot process what he's seeing otherwise.
The face staring back at him isn't his own. It's Jayce's.

Curiosity gets the better of him. He inches forward carefully, leaning in to study the design. He reaches out to trace his fingers across it—
The stone disappears beneath his hand, and Jayce falls forward with a yelp. The bouncy ground offers no help; when he tries to right himself, he only manages to lose his balance completely and tumble ahead.
He doesn't find himself on the ground however. He's caught mid-air— something clamps around his torso, halting his fall. His status screen lights up without prompting.

"No, I." Jayce says. "You—" He closes his eyes for a moment to gather himself, takes a breath. "Uh, Viktor? Whose semen did you feed into the Hexcore?"
Viktor spins in the stool, and Jayce can finally see, with a rush of homesickness, his golden eyes, the impatient set of his mouth. "What do you mean, whose semen? My semen. Who else would—what kind of unethical operation do you think I'm running here?"

It's not like Sam didn't find it bizarre and definitely of note the first time Bucky spontaneously appeared at his side, because he absolutely did. It's just that he was tired, immediately having come off of a mission and just having stripped down to his compression top and underwear, was ready for a shower. So, when Bucky appeared—presumably from his room across the hall—shirtless, with a hand down the front of his tac pants, and his eyes wide as saucers, Sam just sighed.
Or, Sam and Bucky seem to be cursed to teleport to each other when their thoughts stray a bit too far from being classified as strictly friendly.

"W—Come again?" Sam gawked, baffled. Obviously he hadn't expected such an upfront request. Bucky didn't blame him, because he could not have possibly worded that any worse. It definitely didn't help that it was one twenty seven in the damn morning, he was running on about thirty minutes of sleep, and he was standing on Sam's porch drenched in rainwater.
He felt so ridiculous.
It didn't help that Sam, despite being visibly bewildered, had a hint of amusement in his expression, while Bucky knew he 100% looked one twig snap away from dropping off of the face of the earth indefinitely.
Or: Bucky Barnes realized that he didn't exactly understand gentleness as much as he'd like to. An impulsive spurt of confidence happened to land him right on Sam's doorstep.
