Summary
Colin maintained that his recent bout of lunacy was, in its entirety, all Penelope Featherington’s fault. For, had she not been so very resolute in her refusal to speak to him after an off-season's worth of unanswered letters, it was wholly possible that – after having overheard his mother lamenting both the state of the Featherington baronry and the effects of Lady Featherington’s now rather indiscreet baby race on Penelope’s chances at a felicitous (if practical) match – Colin would have acted far more rationally than to orchestrate a not-so-clandestine, not-so-very-appropriate, and also not-at-all-truthful midnight tryst between them in the orangery at Vauxhall Gardens.
(Maybe.)
After all, if it was simply time Penelope needed to work her way towards forgiving him and restoring their once warm friendship, as his mother had suggested… Well, then a lifetime together would certainly suit that, with change to spare, wouldn’t it?
— or, Penelope is a storm Colin is determined to weather. A different take on the entrapment of it all.

Summary
Colin Bridgerton has been cut off from his family fortune for over a decade. Staying afloat with a sizeable youtube following and video documentaries funded by attention from thirst traps and stupid stunts and sponsorships was meant to be temporary- and it was. Brought to a horrible halt following an unfortunate rock climbing accident, Colin finds himself broke and back in Mayfair, forced to find refuge, and perhaps forgiveness, with the ghosts he swore he'd never see again.
Penelope Featherington has been building her fortune for over a decade. Clawing her way up through a brutal publishing world to become the CEO of Danbury Press meant that some blood was inevitable- once best friends and family, included. She was cunning, she was careful, she was cutthroat- but not enough, it would seem, because what the fuck is she thinking offering her penthouse up to the man she'd made peace without? And why does she just want to take care of him so badly?

Summary
“You earnestly believe you can trick me into loving you in three months? Mr. Bridgerton, this shall be the easiest-won wager any woman has ever known.”
Colin chuckles. “I believe,” he says, “I can do it in one. The latter two shall be enjoyed as our honeymoon.”
Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton haven’t properly seen each other in years.
Now, they find themselves maneuvered into an arranged marriage neither of them wants.
Penelope, sharp-tongued and self-possessed, has no intention of being anyone’s consolation prize. Colin, newly returned from the continent and having already insulted his bride, did not comprehend quite the little spitfire he'd been given.
And so, a wager is struck: Three months to earn her regard, or surrender the match.

Summary
“Once again,” he said, “how can I help you, Miss Featherington?”
“Considering the nature of your business, Mr. Bridgerton,” she stated, “I imagine you can guess why I have come.”
“The only reason women come here is when they are seeking employment,” he said. “I must admit, a gently-bred lady such as yourself seeking us out is rather intriguing.”
“I do not recall mentioning anything of the sort to your guard when I arrived,” she said. “In fact, I’m certain I told him the opposite.”
Something about her demeanour disarmed him, leaving him unsettled and without his usual bearings. She was clever, and beautiful in a way unlike any woman he’d seen before—and he’d seen many in his line of business. She was witty, and yet did not seem to notice, never smirking to suggest that she knew she was being utterly charming.

Summary
Colin knows that touch has always been something he just does. Touching for touching’s sake, nothing more, for friendship, for comfort, to show affection - it's always been something he’s good at. Something he does and something he seeks out. Considering he knows this and does this, it takes him an embarrassingly long time to realize that Penelope, well, doesn’t.
Or,
Colin Bridgerton is what you might call a touchy person. And this makes Penelope Featherington’s brain short circuit with anxiety, all while trying to avoid the fact that she desperately wants to be touched.
A story in eighteen parts about how Colin and Penelope learn to hold each other, and fall in love in the process.

Summary
From the private writings of Galadriel: "I thought I had found a man. Not a hero, not even a king - just a man. Flawed and raw and full of want. He wore his pain on the outside, the way I wore mine on the inside, and I mistook that for honesty. But it was not Halbrand who answered when I pressed my mouth to his, or whispered my doubts into his skin. It was Sauron.
And yet...he was the first one to truly see me. He saw the fury I could never purge, the pride I never confessed, the hunger that curled in my belly like fire. I remember the weight of his body over mine; his breath against my ear; the way he said my name as if he had known it long before the world began. I remember wanting him, not despite what he was, but because of it. Because he matched something I have always carried and never dared name.
They say light drives out the dark; I have lived long enough to know better.
Light calls to darkness, as surely as darkness calls to light. He was drawn to my light, and I to his darkness. Somewhere, somehow, in between, we became fully known...and perhaps, even, fully loved."
