Keith’s imagining a world where it's just the two of them on an isolated planet when he tilts his chin up and presses a soft kiss against Shiro’s lips.
It's not their first kiss. It's one of many; they've had chaste kisses and frenzied ones. This one falls somewhere in the middle as Keith works his lips against Shiro's. Words are hard, but Keith can channel everything he wants to say into this kiss. He can funnel his emotions into this so his heart doesn't burst.
He loves him. He loves Shiro so much.

Shiro’s had a crush on the piano player for the gay bar he co-owns with his best friend ever since he hired him. Apparently, he’s not the only one - he’s pretty sure Keith’s arrival has doubled the popularity of the bar, and Keith doesn’t even have a clue.
Every night, Shiro watches lines of men come up to the piano to flirt with Keith, and it only barely soothes his longing heart that Keith always turns them down.
Or, Shiro and Keith are both oblivious, but they manage to figure it out anyway.
