Roy breathes out when he sees the trending twitter tag: #royjamiefanfic. He doesn't even really know what fanfic is, but after a few vehement scrolls, he gets the idea. He skims through the posts, thousands of users commenting their favorite works, replying with suggestions to others, discussing Jamie and Roy's interactions at past matches, deliberating whether this is all just good fun or if there's a shred of truth to these fantasies.
"What the fuuuck."
"I told you that you did not want to see." Sam replies.

He had actually meant to read the letters, but each time he rifled through the stack, it became more obvious that one was missing. And it tore him anew each time. So over the past week, what was first hours of holding the letters, feeling the scratchy paper in his fingertips, willing himself to just open one, dwindled to nothing when he shoved the folder under his pillow and did his best to forget about it.
Now, on the brink of his departure from the facility and his arrival into his new life, he deliberated again. In naive longing, he carefully read the front of each envelope once more.
Michael Robinavitch, M.D. was not one of them.

"You're saying that you won't be my resident for the next five years." It was a question-turned-statement, as if Park had realized what he was saying as he was doing so. His body heat radiated off the bare skin of his chest and Ogilvie shivered despite himself, rolling his shoulders as the tingle crept up his spine.
"No, I won't," he breathed out.
Park hummed lowly in acknowledgment. He looked completely at ease and Ogilvie wanted nothing more than to lick every inch of his body, wanting nothing more than to wipe that stoicism clean off.
"Reward me, Dr. Park."

The other grasps Art’s wrist tightly—to ensure that his slick skin doesn’t slip out of his hold—and yanks, pulling him back into the sauna while the heavy door slams shut again.
