The Hylian Royal Family is dead.
At least, that’s the official report.
Ten years after Ganondorf’s decisive purge of the Castle, Hyrule carries on beneath new banners. Whispers persist of the lost Princess’s ghost living on in the kingdom’s most elusive, notorious courtesan, the Songbird. For the men powerful enough to receive an invitation to her bed, it’s a chance to relive the fantasy of a vanished age.
These men, however, have a strange habit of vanishing without a trace.
When a summons arrives for the Songbird to the Court of Vices, the glittering, debauched heart of Ganondorf’s New Hyrule, she’s finally within striking distance of her ultimate mark. The man who seized her birthright, sent her underground into hiding, and now wears her father’s crown. Armed with her cover story and decade of Sheikah assassin training, she wrangles the new King into a deadly bargain he believes will align her kill list to his advantage.
It was meant to be a clean vendetta.

Summary
Zelda struck a bargain with the Calamity: a crown for a king, and a marriage on her terms. Weeks into their reign, she's clearing out her father's chancellery as a gift for her new husband when she discovers a locked drawer containing twenty-seven marriage proposals. Never intended for her to see, only conditions for men to negotiate and a princess to endure.
She sorts them by cruelty. Ganondorf wants every name. For retribution, and to show her how a proper king behaves.
Her father's desk, not to mention her life and choices, will never belong to King Rhoam Bosphoramus Hyrule ever again.

But when the Hero of Time ghosts his own legend, and Zelda gets thirsty, all the crystal prism walls begin to fall away, leaving two undeniably magnetic Triforce parts alone to pick up the pieces.

One day, a stranger appears in the garden as both answer and reckoning: the final piece of a puzzle the once-Hero has spent years trying to solve. A boy carrying his father’s sword, his mother’s strength, and an unfinished legend in his heart.

When Hyrule's King dies and plunges the realm into turmoil, Princess Zelda does not flee. She hatches a plot to transform mercy into menace and intimacy into weaponry, conspiring with the one man she's supposed to fear above all else.
Stripped of her crown and remade as Ganondorf’s Royal Consort, Zelda engineers a far more dangerous survival: she turns herself into the kingdom’s most convincing lie. As rebellion stirs beyond the borders and threatens the stability of a conquered realm, Zelda proposes a brutal solution that will make Hyrule's enemies fear its new king too much to rise against him.
What follows is a carefully staged spectacle of power, sacrifice, and mythmaking, played out before the eyes of the court. Publicly, Ganondorf is the monster history demands. Privately, he and Zelda rule together in the shadows, bound by strategy, desire, and a shared willingness to damn themselves for the sake of the kingdom.

This is my totally unhinged tribute to the Puppet Zelda Cutscene in Age of Imprisonment, along with the casual Zelgan-is-canon lore drop that Ganondorf lurked around Rauru's palace for SIX MONTHS!!! I played, I finished it, I'm still not okay. Enjoy!
