Summary
As winter break has come and gone, the NRC decides to do their yearly student body health evaluation. It was a simple test of sight, hearing and mental faculties meant to shield the school from liability in the case that a student were to return with issues that they didn't have before, as well as a general survey of the people enrolled.
Having never had the chance to take such tests while being homeschooled, Kalim learns something new about himself.
It is not a day to celebrate.

Freedom was never meant to feel like this.
Jamil Viper has spent his entire life serving Kalim Al-Asim, guarding his happiness and existing just out of sight. In a kingdom built on loyalty and power, where duty is inherited before choice is ever understood, their lives were always meant to be intertwined.
