Summary
“Never land, Ice,” Mav said with a grin. “Never land.”
Ice was landing. He was in Monterey in pursuit of a desk, according to Maverick. Truthfully, he was studying for a degree in Information Strategy and Political Warfare. Mav whistled appreciatively when Ice told him that.
“They’ll be creamin’ themselves to get you in their command, Ice. You’ll be licking all the brass-ass you want before you know it.”
Ice scowled and shoved Maverick’s shoulder roughly, but added under his breath, before he walked away, “Bullshit—they can lick mine.”

Summary
Tom Kazansky keeps to himself. He has to. Everyone thinks Ron Kerner, his RIO is an exception to this. That couldn't be further from the truth.
Sure, Slider knows more than most, Ice can admit that. However, he silently prides himself on one thing— two things actually. Slider has no idea that Ice is an omega, no one but himself, his direct family, and the Navy know that.

"Just let me do this, alright." Mav's gaze softened, but he stayed wrapped firmly around Ice's body. "See yourself through my eyes, and let me objectify my hot ass husband."

Summary
The Navy has an urban legend: the time rift. Like UFOs and the Bermuda Triangle, they have their proponents, but most people don't believe in them. Maverick doesn't believe in them, until he encounters one.
The stories go like this: fly or sail through a rift, and you might be thrown back in time to an earlier point in your life, to correct something that went wrong.

Summary
Maverick never thought he’d actually like the nitty gritty details of working at TOPGUN — the lesson plans, the tests, the endless paperwork — but it grows on him over time. Viper’s even taken to giving Maverick these approving glances when he thinks Maverick’s not looking. He’s got a good thing going here.
A year after that, in walks Iceman Kazansky, cool as can be, and Maverick starts to think that he might have a problem.

Summary
Maverick's on his second whiskey when Kazansky appears beside him, the very picture of good manners and sin. If he had more energy, Maverick thinks he’d hate him for it, or maybe just give into the urge to suck him off in a bathroom stall.
“Hello Maverick.”
"Iceman."
They drink in companionable silence for the next quarter hour until—
"So what do you have against soulmates?"
Or—
It isn’t the size of the soulmark that matters, but that doesn’t mean Maverick isn’t still obnoxiously smug about his.Bookmarked by icemanism
