"I guess they're rare, I mean, maybe. We don't have any in our garden and… well, they're my mom's favorite kind." He took a breath, thinking of raised voices, the sound of shattering glass. He blinked. "I guess I just wanted to bring her something nice today."
Sanji was just a kid when he met Zoro– the day he found both a refuge from his father's household and an unexpected friend. Then Zoro left, and that was it. Sanji had to survive alone because, even in his wildest dreams, he never would have expected Zoro to show up again, especially not like this; but now Zoro has, and the way Sanji's learned to live is about to change.

Ace and Deuce jumped, startled by Yuu’s voice.
Ace recovered quicker than Deuce and said, “What? No!”
Deuce rose form his seat and said, “This is none of your business, Yuu.”
“You need an invitation to get inside the castle.” Yuu said.
Ace and Deuce paused, and then turned back at Yuu.
“How do you know that?” asked Ace.
“The invitations were delivered just now. There’s one for Crowley and one for Epel.”
The duo sighed. Deuce turned to Ace and asked, “What now?”
Yuu hasn't had the easiest run of it so far. Dead parents, mean caretaker, and their closest friend is their cat, Grim. So when they get the chance to run away with two other servants, they take it.
The plan? Steal an invitation, go to the royal ball, take some jewels, and get back home before anyone notices. It's foolproof. All Yuu has to do is dodge the crown prince and maybe meet up with their mysterious friend from the woods.
(A Disney's Cinderella AU with a dash of Ye Xian, a Chinese fairy tale that shares similarities with Cinderella.)

Summary
Three years ago, strange circumstances led Tatsuya to a little boy living in Alaya Shrine, a place forbidden to him by laws unspoken but known.
He still took him in.
Now as the third anniversary of Ren’s arrival into Tatsuya’s life, his unofficial eighth birthday, strange things are happening in Tatsuya's life once again. His dreams are nightmares. Old marks that faded with time have grown darker. Aches and bruises that were never his appear. Ren speaks of things Tatsuya’s done that he can't remember. And furthermore, there is a presence in their home.
A presence that he knows but can't name, by laws unspoken but known to him. But it's made it very clear it aims to disrupt his life and take the child he holds dear. So Tatsuya will fight it, as best he can. Even if he has to give himself over to it.
He will protect Ren from it.
From Him.
That's what Fathers do.
