Tubbo didn’t know what to do with his hands. When he first started walking through the dark streets of Brighton they had held onto the straps of his rucksack tightly, and after a while he’d let go and shoved them into his pockets, but now he had them at his sides and balled up into tight fists. He could flex his fingers, maybe he could stretch or rub his eyes…
Thinking about what to do with his hands seemed nonsensical, it seemed pointless, but it gave him something to think about.
It wasn’t as if he didn’t have anything to think about, it was just that if he stopped thinking about what to do with his hands he’d have to start thinking about where he was going, what he was doing, and he’d have to figure out what to do next.

"I- I don't know- what the fuck? What's going on?" Eret turned to his friends, hoping for some kind of explanation. They looked at him incredulously.
"Hold on, what did you just say?" Tommy asked him.
"I said, what's going-" Eret didn't have time to finish when he felt a sharp sting in his neck.
Instantly, he collapsed to the ground, his muscles giving out on him as energy drained from his body. The sounds of bodies falling to the ground surrounded him as each of his friends fell alongside him. He tried to scream, but his mouth wouldn’t open. Fear rushed through his veins.
An iron needle clattered to the ground next to him, the tip coated with an iridescent gray mixed with blood. He watched as the strange mixture seeped into the cold, stone ground.
A shadow loomed over him, a porcelain mask leering down. "Eret, you were supposed to be on our side. I’m glad I came prepared.”

"Wilbur?" A soft voice called into the dark room, just loud enough to pull him from his light sleep. "Are you awake?"
It was Toby, the boy had trouble sleeping every now and then, and Wilbur didn't blame him for having trouble sleeping tonight considering the circumstances.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm up." Wilbur responded, rubbing the sleep and grogginess from his eyes. A quick glance to the alarm clock on the side table showed that it was only 2:24 in the morning. Toby quietly shuffled into room. The moon light streaming in from the window barely lit up his small frame and his trademark blue blanket that had been worn to bits wrapped around his shoulders. He looked so young.
"It's-it's been so long." Toby's voice cracked, Wilbur could've sworn he heard a sniffle too. It wasn't rare for Toby to cry, he was the most sensitive out of the trio, but that didn't stop the pang that hit Wilbur's heart.
"Hey, you're alright, come here." Wilbur took the younger boy into his arms, "been so long since what?"
"Since we've had a home."

JSchlatt won the election. JSchlatt banished him and Wilbur- revoked their citizenship. It shouldn't have happened, but it did. Now they're on the run, invisibility potions having run out. JSchlatt asked Tubbo to hunt them down- to hunt Tommy down. But surely, he wouldn't, right?
