As Phoenix and Maya attempt to pick up the pieces after Mia's death, Edgeworth and Franziska are likewise struggling to figure out themselves and their feelings in the wake of Von Karma. Mostly about letting people into your life and letting them change your way of life: how caring for others can ultimately help you care for yourself.

Summary

TW: Goes in-depth into suicidal ideation, anxiety, psychological abuse, and mental health issues. The early chapters especially are dark, but it gets lighter with time. This is essentially the first three games from Miles' perspective.

Finally, a place where he could live permanently, without fear, exhaustion, and that experienced prejudice to his kind and other non-Human's few and far between. But, his life he made for himself gets ten times more complicated when he finds an injured boy in the forest, bleeding to death upon the ground.

While obligatory, this series challenges a few pervasive narratives and hopes to rewrite foster aus as a concept through radical acceptance, diversity, and realistic healing.
Most people writing foster aus have no idea what they're doing. And tbf- that's okay. Most people aren't reading foster aus for accuracy. But as someone who is knowledgable about these systems and the trauma of foster care, I really wanted to see an au that tackled these concepts head on. So I did it myself.
