Ranboo may have managed to escape the mall, but will he really ever really manage to escape Showfall?
Basically a Genloss fanfic (with dreamsmp characters) of which Ranboo manages to find a loving family and friends, but it turns out that despite the death lurking around every corner, being in the mall was much safer for him than the outside world - Hetch knows this too; his moneymaker hero is too valuable to be damaged by things outside the show. That's why he wants him back.
This fic will be back to existing soon!! I don't know how soon, but whenever my brain wants to let me write this again rather than just making me have such a massive writers block.

Since entering into Phil's household, Ranboo has been taught and had it drilled it into his head just how badly the rest of the world views and treats people like him. Phil has kept Ranboo isolated from the rest of the world for this fact. And Ranboo is thankful to have someone strong and caring like Phil in his life. Someone to protect him. To deal and put up with him. He knows Phil would never do anything that wasn't for the greater good.
So when Phil announces that Ranboo is going to start going to a public highschool, Ranboo tries not to doubt the man. He knows what he is doing. This must be for the best.

Technoblade is out in the woods, again. He was overwhelmed by all of the noise at his dad's house, and he needed a break.
The forest is peaceful, everything is still.
Until a figure comes crashing into the clearing, panting as they grab their stomach, blood steadily leaking from between their fingers.
They look like a child, especially once Technoblade notices the stuffed cat clutched tightly in their other hand.

Charlie hadn’t expected to wake up. He had a fucking TV headed wire monster mauling into him, for gods sake, why would he expect to be able to open his eyes again?
When he did, he was surprised to say the least. The monster was seemingly frozen with its hand mid-air, seemingly about to launch its final strike before becoming stuck. He wanted nothing more than to scream in pure terror, but he had a bigger problem that he needed to deal with first.
The problem? The horrifying amount of wires that were currently protruding from his stomach and in his arms.

He feels himself slump at the realization. So many houses, so many opportunities… Surely one of them should have done by now. Why can’t he just be satisfied? Why does he keep giving up on good homes?
He closes his eyes. He’s just selfish like that he supposes. Nothing will ever satisfy him. He-he’ll be familyless forever at this rate. Never know what it’s like to be loved or feel safe, before his time is up at 18.__________________________________

For most of the universe, humans were a rarity and seen as a threat. Something to view with both horror and mild awe, a destructive race with a thirst for blood. And while some diplomats were trying to change that opinion it wasn't particularly easy, especially with Res Novas around.
The team of seven were an anomaly in itself. Seven humans/human-hybrids who had somehow made it off Earth without any records? It normally took several cycles worth of work on the necessary paperwork alone, not to mention the need to learn Intragalactic Common and often a few more languages just to qualify.
For the team however, life went on as usual, casual squabbles, constant missions, meetings and briefings that nobody enjoyed, a few stabbing threats and of course team bonding activities. Though for them team bonding usually ended with an arm being thrown across the room, or someone having a snack hitting them dead centre in the forehead. But they cared for one another more than they thought was possible most days, and as long as they were together they were happy.
