Michael didn’t know his other father well.
The only remaining memories were faint and distant.
Ranboo had left when he was barely 6. Michael was just a child, but he could still tell how the absence impacted his other dad, Tubbo.
It wasn’t like Ranboo had died or anything. His father had simply ran off, the only explanation being a single note dedicated to Tubbo. It said some... pretty nasty things. Ranboo had left to live with someone named Tommy.
And after years of waiting, Ranboo had never come back.
Michael was older now. He had come to realize Ranboo would never come back. But that was fine, cause Michael no longer wanted his dad back. No, now he wanted revenge.

High School AU where Ranboo and Tubbo are paired up for the tropey home-ec project where you take care of one of those robotic babies. And through the pain of group projects, a friendship is born. A school play, a wedding, some mild trespassing and vandalism, and way too many indie rock songs

The dullness in Tubbo’s eyes, the scars, they were scary. Jordan was scared. He doesn’t know this Tubbo, not really. Jordan knew a fifteen-year-old boy with dreams of a sky island and too much heart for his own good. But that doesn’t change a thing.
He tells Tubbo that he loves having him over, loves catching up, and that Kara is going to be there in a few days. He sends a frantic message to Kara demanding she come over. Tubbo agrees to stay.

Dropping his soda, Tommy stares at the television while his father and two older brothers stare at him. Stare at the silver bracelet on his wrist and his middle fingernail. "Tommy?" Phil says slowly, a look of disbelief and denial on his face, "Did Tubbo really give you that bracelet?"
"Tubbo."
Tubbo kept his hands behind his back, looking at the wall, guilt and panic growing in his chest as his father, Schlatt, looking desperate and tired. "Tubbo, tell me you're not- Tubbo show me your hands." Tubbo takes in a deep breath, shoulders trembling as he kept his hands behind his back. That's confirmation enough. "Tubbo."
Ranboo didn't have anyone, he lived alone in his apartment. Which is kind of perfect as he welcomes Tommy and Tubbo inside, both looking haggard and teary-eyed. They ran and came to him. He hugs them both and comforts them.

“Oh, no, it does.” Dream’s tone shifted suddenly, sharp and edged. And from the way everyone grabbed at their shields, they all noticed. He took a step forward. “See, I didn’t ask Eret to get anything for me. They weren’t even supposed to be in this war! But, well, they just had to fuck that right up.”
Niki couldn’t take anymore. “What did you do?” she asked, voice trembling, even as Dream’s influence gripped at her heart and stole her breath. How unfair that a being so powerful would use his abilities to hurt others.
And Dream just stood there, like he was above it all. God, how she hated him for that. “Historically,” he said, head turned to look right at her, “traitor kings have always been dealt with in a particularly… gruesome fashion. I don’t know why Eret thought they’d get any different.” And he held out his hand and conjured something from his inventory. The shape shifted, like liquid, for a moment before settling. A golden crown. The jewels of it glimmered in the lantern light. He tossed it onto the floor and it rolled down the stairs, coming to a stop at Niki’s feet.

(Yes the title is from sofia the first, yes I'm laughing at it, I find it funny-)
In which Phil has created the Antarctic Empire from the ground up and takes in Techno and Wilbur along the way, and raises them while also ruling his kingdom. Tommy, sixteen, lives with Tubbo in an orphanage, the two of them running around in the cold streets of their town.
After a hectic day of getting separated from Tubbo, getting into a few fights, and ending up in an entirely new town, he comes across Phil, and saves him from an assassination attempt by smashing a plate over someone's head.
So then both Techno and Wilbur decide to see who this kid is, and Tommy sure is endearing, in the way that the first time they spy on him, he starts a fight in an alleyway over a bag of cookies.
(and then Tommy basically gets kidnapped into the royal family, but like, legally, y’know?)

"Let's start making it happen." As soon as those words fell out of Schlatt's mouth, a bright light nearly blinded everyone as well as the sound of a portal's unnatural hum.
When the light died down and everyone got their vision back, a portal, structured like a Nether Portal but built out of metal and stone, glowing silver, stood right between and before the stage and the audience. They were stunned as a figure came out of said portal, tall, decked out in full enchanted netherite. A man with a familiar mask but unfamiliar clothes stood.
"Where's Dream?" The man with the red hood, wearing Dream's mask immediately asked.
Before anyone could even react or answer, the portal behind him flared brightly and the man jumped away with an annoyed grunt as another man decked in netherite tumbled out of the silver glowing portal. Wild dark hair, dark blue eyes, burnt scars underneath his chin-
"Tubbo?" Tommy muttered in surprise, somehow recognizing him as his best friend.
"Tommy!" The older Tubbo screamed, but not at Tommy who stood beside Wilbur. But at the masked man with the red hood.
Two broken men stay in the past in hopes of a better future.

Fundy was one of the few people who was present during the operation of both precedencies of L'Manberg. His father had been narrow-minded (and insane), Jschlatt had been tyrannical (and also insane), and here Fundy stood bearing witness to induction of the newest, child President. However, as Fundy watched (New) L'Manberg's development under the Tubbo Administration, he had come to learn quite a bit about the responsibilities of being president. Responsibilities Fundy thinks not even his own father had been aware of.
Fundy follows Tubbo through his journey as the President of a Crater.
