Summary
Just as Jimin is tucking the end of the cream blanket between Yoongi’s back and the back of the sofa, the house phone sends a shrill ringing through the silence.
“Who—,” Yoongi grumbles, groggily blinking awake.
Jimin hushes him, running his hand through his hair. “Go back to sleep, it’s probably nothing.”
Knowing that it’s probably not nothing, Yoongi narrows his eyes up at his husband and pushes himself up right. “Quick, love, before it goes to answer message.”
Jumping to his feet, Jimin shuffles across the room and snatches the phone from the cradle. “Hello? Park residence,” he calls into the phone, eyes locking with Yoongi’s. He can’t help the fond smile that pulls across his lips as he watches Yoongi wipe the remaining sleep out of his eyes.
“Hello, Jimin, are the pair of you ready for some good news?”

“Hey.” A voice invades Jeongguk’s thoughts and a hand taps his arm. Jeongguk jolts so suddenly at the touch that the man in front of him is taken aback and has to hold onto the edge of the wooden table to keep his balance. Jeongguk isn’t able to recollect the last time someone touched him. “Are you okay?”
Jeongguk swallows and furrows his brows because he’s not sure why the man’s asking. Sure, he had his head on his arms, but they work in a fast paced entertainment company, of course everyone’s going to look a little tired. It’s not until the man’s pulling a tissue from his pocket that Jeongguk realises his thoughts from earlier manifested into tear tracks down his cheeks.
Jeongguk takes the tissue and coughs awkwardly. “I’m okay. Thank you.” His tired voice lets out barely above a whisper.
Jeongguk is a sad sad boy overworking himself and he finds some people who might actually help him.
