Summary
Steve Rogers likes his job as a robotics engineer. What he doesn't like is being inconvenienced by attending boring conferences. When he gets roped into one by his boss, he's sure he's going to have a shitty time...until he accidentally meets Bucky Barnes. What he thinks is a weekend of casual-but-off-the-charts-great sex turns into a lot of pining for the one who got away, followed by a lot of surprise when Bucky reappears in his life, followed by a lot more sex.
One glitch Steve has to worry about...he's falling in love with his fuck buddy. Make that two glitches...someone in his office is suspected of industrial espionage. While their tight-knit group tries to find the culprit, Steve tries to find a way to tell Bucky his true feelings.

Summary
Eyes glued to Bucky’s hand tossing up the dice, Sam’s mouth moves into a lopsided grin before flicking up to Steve’s face, still only inches from Bucky’s own, lips curled up from the kiss.
“You know, for all that Barnes is calling you something disgustingly sweet every two seconds, I don’t hear you doing that much,” he says, a lighthearted barb obviously directed towards Steve. Then, to Bucky, “You’ve got a list of sappy names two miles long for your boy, you know that?”
Bucky shrugs, not thinking much of it. That’s the way they’ve always been, even before they got their shit together and finally kissed. He doesn’t notice the way Steve freezes next to him, too busy focusing on his roll landing (thankfully not on one of Sam’s spots) to pay much mind to him in the moment.
He’s gonna regret that, eventually.

Summary
So really, Bucky told himself frequently, he couldn’t complain. Sure, he had anxiety and nightmares and... other issues, but those were par for the course for a survivor like him. It was fine. Everything was fine, or at least as fine as it was probably ever gonna get.
But all of that was little consolation when he woke up hard as a rock and unable to find relief at 4 in the morning at least a few times a week.

Steve found the Sewing Bee by chance when looking for something to play in the background while he worked, and he was immediately enamored by the show. Everything from the judges, to the stupidly attractive host, not to mention the skill of the contestants and their obvious camaraderie appealed to him. So he applied, and managed to make it on the show.

Barnes knows what Rogers would like to hear.
I remember you.
He doesn’t. He has wisps of memory as insubstantial as everything else the chair took from his brain. They’re always accompanied by the taste of metal in his mouth.
He stays because it’s safe, because Hydra cannot get to him here, because Rogers—still waiting for his dead friend to claw his way out of the Winter Soldier’s broken psyche—will go to the ends of the earth to find him if they do. There’s a strange security in this knowledge, but Barnes knows it won’t last. Rogers will only wait for so long, and Barnes cannot tell him that his friend died screaming in the cold.
So he watches Rogers watch him, and Barnes doesn’t know what he’s looking for, but he knows he has found it the first time he sees Rogers’s eyes drop down to his lips and dart guiltily away.
Barnes pretends he doesn’t notice and unlike Rogers, he can act. The Red Room made him well, and the Americans could ruin only so much.
He changes his act, a few weeks in. He starts looking back.
